Amazing Service
A wheel had been broken off our suitcase during travel - contacted AT via their website to try to purchase a new wheel -easy to use website , found what we needed added it to the basket - NO charge !!! Case now as good as new no thanks to the airline but big shout out to AT for having the part in the first place and for providing it for free. Very impressive….

I was surprised to see the low rating for American Tourister on Trustpilot because my experience with them has been nothing short of exceptional. Living in Finland, I ordered the Take2Cabin S and M bags from their local site, americantourister.fi, which is essentially the same as their global website. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The bags were delivered in pristine condition within a week, which is impressively fast compared to other online shops. The quality of the bags is outstanding, especially for the price. They are durable, well-designed, and perfectly suited for my travel needs. I specifically needed cabin bags that would fit both under the front seat and in the overhead compartments on Ryanair and Norwegian Air flights, and these bags were ideal. They easily passed the Ryanair bag checker at the airport, which was a relief. I recently used them on a 9-day trip to Italy, and they held up beautifully, carrying everything I needed without any issues. The free shipping and free returns are also a huge plus. I accidentally ordered the wrong size once, and the return process was incredibly easy. All I had to do was not pick up the product from the pickup point, and it automatically returned to them via UPS. The full refund process was smooth, and I was able to reorder the correct size with no hassle. Their customer service was also prompt and helpful, which further adds to my positive experience. Based on this, I find it hard to understand the poor rating they’ve received. From my perspective, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend American Tourister and will definitely shop with them again in the future.
Robust product and great after service
After a spate of terrible experiences with other companies recently, I feel compelled to write a positive review about a recent experience. I've had my American Tourister large Soundblaster for around six years now and have travelled alot. There have been no issues with functionality, however, recently I've noticed some play in one of the caster wheels. American Tourister, through Samsonite have an excellent online aftercare service where I was able to order replacement casters for my suitcase for free! Crazy. I'm very impressed by this. I'll be ordering another case from the brand in the coming weeks for shorter trips.
Broken, dirty and definitely not a new suitcase
I ordered this suitcase and it arrived on the expected date, but not via UPS as stated, which confused me. Also, the order details in UPS app looked weird. Nevertheless, I was happy it arrived on time. What I was not happy about, was that the suitcase had clearly been used — it was definitely not new. For a moment I even thought I might have accidentally bought it from a fake site without realizing. While the tags were still attached and the color itself was beautiful, the wheels were worn out, there were several orange stains on it (looked like some food sauce or liquid had splashed on it), and the telescopic handle was scratched in many places and also broken. I could hear a screw rattling inside, and it wobbled more than my husband’s 4-month-old Soundbox, which has even been with us on one trip already. After walking with it for a short while, I noticed the telescopic handle wouldn't stay up even though we didn’t press the button. The material also felt clearly lower in quality than my larger Soundbox and my husband’s Soundbox. I'm extremely disappointed, and despite all this, I wasn’t offered any compensation — I just had to return the item even though my flight was approaching. And I suspect I was sent someone else’s returned item without proper inspection. I even visited a luggage store in my city that had the exact same model (different color), and the wheels there looked like they'd only been used in-store. The quality was also much better. Additionally, customer service responds very rarely — about once per day, if at all. I’m so sad.
