Newsite about IT security which adverts scam promos
Still visting BleepingComputer frequently for its news content which satisfies both my desire for newswothy topics and its bias. (not un-biased but balanced enough for me to approve and enjoy). However the bad part is that news it not the only content on their website. Along with adverts for diffrent promos which often lack clear transpacency. BC also have a "downloads" sections which either links to the more "known" applications own sites for the actual download or they host promoted application which are boosted in certain catergories like "most popular". Applications which has billion of downloads. I do not mean that Bleeping Computers is bad, its not. Its just that their way to make money makes me cautious and keeps me to my toes when visiting their website. (which is good I suppose)

I noticed on the web this site is for all skill levels. When I posted, I was beraterd for my lack of site knowlege and poor articulation of my issue. As this is supposed to be for all levels I feel I was verbally abused and will not be back. We all have to start sometime and some have handicaps.
Free help but no help. Not worth the drama.
I had a weird issue with games crashing after Windows 11 install. The interaction with bleepingcomputer started off OK. I tried to be as detailed as possible and follow all instructions to the best of my knowledge. I thanked them for their time and expertise. I overlooked failures to answer some of my questions on their suggestions. Communication by one of them was particularly bad. Sometimes they brought up issues with my PC unrelated to my crashes, but I was happy to fix side issues. Surprisingly, two of the volunteers got offended when I politely clarified information they misunderstood after being accused of not following instructions. After that, it became impossible to expect any real help. I received big lists of complaints, much of it unrelated to my crashes to support suggestions to stop helping me. I ended the conversation because I got tired of going in circles, repeating information, and being blamed. They fixed on one idea and refused to consider everything. Basically, they stopped trying to help and fabricated accusations to justify quitting. I was then accused of being ungrateful. It appears the place is full of big egos who must appear smarter than the user with a chip on their shoulders because they're offering their time. It's not worth it. Find a better forum or pay for help.

Online scam/fraud platform
Online scam platform. They do charge for goods sold in "Deals" section via PayPal = money are instantly deducted from the linked bank account. then, the so-called "computer experts sale platform" displays: "unknown error occurred" and are encouraging you to repeat the payment attempt (potentially stealing multiple times the value of the goods). Fortunately for me I have used a card which is prepaid and therefore the price of "ordered goods" was the card balance so the theft act was only partially successful. Of course: emails to support are not answered, while posting about the issue on their portal results only with the comments being deleted = typical fraudsters behaviour. (just in case: yes, there is the invoice number provided by PayPal for this theft: 21167295, if anyone from scammerscomputers[.]com would pretend that it never happened. Email confirming that the fraudster's support team received the message of complaint is available upon request too).
