I called in Friday Lunch asking for a ride on roller for my driveway to compact 30 tonne of hardcore, Carl (Buildbase Grimsby) couldn't get me one but instead brought me a heavy gauge "Whacker Plate" instead which did the job just as well.......fantastic customer service with nothing too much bother.......Hire Base Exceptional 5* :-)

We Had two deliveries consisting in total of 6 bags of Bulk sand and 160 Paving slabs. On both occasions the drivers made the delivery exactly where we needed it placed on our Drive and close to a fence and by the side of a skip, so they were very careful. The second driver even helped to move 20 bags of Top Soil that otherwise would have been in the way of where we needed to place the Slabs. The Customer service in the Shop team was first class, always very helpful, but this was surpassed when we found some of the slabs on the pallets were broken and unusable after unpacking Charlotte dealt with this very quickly and agreed replacement with the supplier with no fuss whatsoever and kept us informed of the progress. BUILDBASE NORWICH. My first visit to Buildbase Norwich today to buy something that wasn’t stocked by the other merchants. Just a small order but what a great experience. Yard staff were polite and efficient and Counter staff were friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Would not hesitate to use them as my first choice of merchant next time.
