Refund of missing dresses
One of my parcels were not delivered with 3 dresses in totalling £318. Reese was exceptionally helpful in getting this sorted and processing a refund without any hassle. Great customer service Reese and appreciated.

I’m leaving this review to make other customers aware of my experience and to encourage people to check their orders very carefully. I was charged £28 over to orders for “Priority Delivery Support” through Seel, an optional extra that I did not knowingly choose to purchase. When I challenged the charge, I received what appeared to be automated/AI-generated customer service responses telling me that the charge was non-refundable and that, on future orders, I should “carefully deselect” Priority Delivery Support at checkout. That response concerned me even more. Consumers should not have to carefully spot and remove an optional paid extra. Optional charges should be clear, transparent and based on an active choice by the customer, not something they have to notice and opt out of. After I continued to challenge this, the amount was eventually refunded, but with no explanation as to why I had first been told it was non-refundable or why that decision had changed. The repeated automated-style responses also made it difficult to get a meaningful answer to the actual concern I was raising. For me, this is not about £. It is about transparency, informed consent, fair treatment and whether customers can actually reach someone who will properly consider a complaint rather than simply receiving scripted or AI-generated replies. Someone less confident about challenging the charge may simply have accepted the original response and lost their money. I would strongly advise customers to check every part of the checkout and their final payment carefully, and I think the company should review both how this optional charge is presented and how complaints about it are handled.
Warning to other customers
Warning to other customers: they trick you with hidden charges at checkout. Similar to the budget airlines whereby you have to unselect very inconspicuous tickets boxes in order not to be charged for unnecessary extra services that you really don’t need. Such a shame that one reputable and respectable companies such as Coast/Debenhams have gone down the toilet in this way. I contacted their customer service in relation to my experience and had a robot repeat the same sentence to me several times. The entire company has become a very cheap and nasty operation.

Refusal to refund
2 parcels - one arrived with missing items The second arrived with food stains on a £180 dress, when returning this despite raising with them the day the parcel arrived they are not refunding me stating they will have to check CCTV I now have to wait another two weeks for this to be checked?? This is disgusting
