Having been at etc.venues County Hall several times recently during this horrendous pandemic period I can honestly say that I have always found it not only a delight to attend, but also a highly covid safe place to be. Very professional and attentive staff always available to meet all needs.

Nice venue, very clean. The canteen staff were efficient however the reception staff not so much on the reception desk. The staff member who came to collect us from reception was professional and polite. The canteen food was superb with a varied menu of good tasting food with salad and dessert, and the tea and coffee on hand was great! I would have liked seconds!! The room was spacious and adequate for our teams needs. Only one fault that only water is served with dinner. Would have been nice to have fruit juice as well.

ETC COUNTY HALL is the worst place I ever worked in my 10y of Hospitality work. I can't believe in what I experienced in that place. I went to do a last minute shift my agency booked and I hope I never have to go back there again. To many managers and Supervisors just doing nothing, all gathered near the registration or reception of that floor just like they were in a pub talking with each other and ignoring everyone else, all they do was being rude and disrespectful with the staff. You can see in the staff face the fear and the sadness to work there. Managers and Supervisors just wanted to show they have power to humiliate and tell you what to do with no manners. I was already doing my position for 1h as the "first" manager told me to do and some other manager I never saw approach me and told me exactly to do what I was just doing, I just ignored her and continue....this happened more 3 times during a 2h period with different managers or Supervisors, they don't introduce themselves, they don't ask you nothing, they just tell you what to do in the most rude disrespectful way. I never saw so many managers or Supervisors (still don't know who and what they are, they didn'tintroduce themselves) doing nothing and just treating people like dogs or slaves. Not a please or thank you, nothing. I was working near the staff from F&B and I saw one of the managers from F&B, a Indian guy screaming with two staff members from a agency that were polishing, he scream that they were forbidden to talk with each other while they were polishing. I wonder if being rude and disrespectful is a criteria to work for ETC and become a manager or supervisor. The staff members are so afraid, they didn't talk with each other, in the beginning I thought they were mute or something. We had to ask for our breaks and to go for lunch because they didn't care at all and when we ask them, they were really annoyed, like if we didn't need to have breaks, common we were standing for 6hours. My colleagues told me to avoid ETC VENUES, I thought they were exaggerating when they told me their experience, but NO they weren't. My experience it was like a "out of body experience"....till today I can't believe. Now I understand why my colleagues call ETC VENUES a "NO GO ZONE" and I agree. 😔 I really feel so sad with what I experienced there, the only kindness and respect I had was from the guests.😔
