We have been customers of Ethias, for all our insurance needs, for almost twenty years now. We have always had a quick response to all our renewals, claims, invoicing, questions, etc. They are professional and cater to the needs of their customers. Most recently, we had a difficult case and it was handled to our satisfaction. Thank you Ethias!
online forms/reporting was a disaster, once a human took over all ok
After trying to report an accident for 3 hours, everything failed, internet cant put in country or insurance companiy, make an appointment: you get offered a time slot 4 days ago, LOL, calling the help line, no answer, I actually made an effort to look for reviews and stumbled across this page... rating of 1.4 hahaha, no surprise. how can this company still be in business? edit 29/02/2024 after an initial 1-star review, i have to correct myself. after the initial hickups, the process went smooth. it's not finished, yet, but i'm quite happy with ethias's performance

I had a very bad experience with Ethias. I had theft insurance for my electric Ninebot vehicle. It was stolen over the weekend, and I only noticed it during the week because I didn’t leave the house at all during the weekend.When I reported it, Ethias refused to pay, claiming that I didn’t notify them within 24 hours. It’s impossible to report a theft you haven’t even discovered yet.This is a customer‑unfriendly and unfair approach. I do not recommend them.

-10 Star, run away or you will regret it This insurance is jock, there system is crazy, you ask them to cancel, nothing happened, you call them for anything they say yes ill send you documents, nothing happened, résiliation ? Nothing happened, they don't even exist or what, but the bills the only thing happening even there quality team are sleeping.
Worst service ever
Worst service ever - answers take 5 to 6 working days on the smallest request even urgent ; no possibility to have somebody with a viable comment / answer on the phone ; they do not communicate via email most of times (when you suffer from another administrative issue like the one of bpost - enjoy ! ) Takes 6 days to get a clear view on the status of our profile and no clear answers on insurance policy . Far too confident on their deals with public administrations ; they really seem not to care about the level of service they provide - which in the end is linked to our health … worrying no ?
