Great Customer Service
I initially had an issue with my order where two items were missing, and an extra item I didn’t order was sent by mistake. I contacted their support team and they were incredibly helpful and professional. After investigating, they promptly arranged the shipment of the missing items and even included a complimentary gift as an apology for the inconvenience. Even though it didn’t start perfectly, the way they handled the situation was outstanding. Great customer service and a team that truly cares super job!
There is one 5-star service business still out there--and it's Pivo
Let me say at the outset that in more than 50 years, I have NEVER experienced a more professional, supportive, satisfactory, and PERSONAL response to a product malfunction than I received from Pivo. In truth, I simply didn't believe such a high level of service existed anymore. Allow me to explain: After more than a year of use, my Pivo external mic started switching on and off during my equestrian lessons, absolutely ruining the value of my recordings. It was distressing, because I never knew when the malfunction would happen. Finally, with VERY low expectations, I decided to send an SOS (on a Sunday!) to Pivo. LESS THAN 12 hours later (they ask you to allow them 24), I received a response from the Pivo support group. It was no canned message. No, it was an exceptionally personal and supportive response, and Shane, the team leader, encouraged me to make a few initial steps to test the system while he investigated the problem with his team. I did, and the tests failed. Again, he replied to my response in less than 12 hours. We went through a few days of more detailed testing, and at the end, Shane did NOT simply and coldly conclude "Sorry about that, but you need a new mic." No, he wrote me a detailed email reviewing our tests point by point before concluding (point by point again) that it most probably was not my phone or my internet connection, or my Pivo pod. It was the mic hardware. He then assured me that the malfunction should NOT have happened and that I needed to send him the details of my order so that he could send me a replacement mic. I wrote him back with my info, admitting that I understood that it was probably out of warranty. But wonder of wonders! He immediately wrote back assuring me that this was an exceptional situation and he would replace the mic at no charge. I am STILL amazed at this extraordinary example of true customer service. It does actually exist, and I hold it as a bar to the rest of the business world. True customer service CAN be practiced, and there is one star out there to show you how to do it: Pivo. Hurrah!
