Grade.us: The Review Automation Powerhouse You've Overlooked
A 23-person team generating $2.3M by weaponizing customer feedback for agencies
In a world obsessed with acquiring new customers, Grade.us plays a different game: it helps businesses systematically harvest and market their existing customer love. While giants like Trustpilot and Yotpo chase scale, Grade.us has quietly built a $2.3M revenue engine on a radical premise—reviews shouldn't just happen, they should be engineered.
"Grade.us isn't selling software; they're selling a reputation monopoly for their agency clients."
The Agency Trojan Horse
With only 23 employees generating $2.3M, Grade.us achieves a stellar $100k revenue per employee. This isn't a B2C play—it's a B2B2C masterclass. Their secret? Positioning themselves as the white-label engine for marketing agencies. Agencies resell Grade.us as their own 'Reputation Management Platform,' creating sticky, high-margin revenue streams while Grade.us handles the heavy lifting. It's Shopify for reviews, not Amazon.
The Traffic Paradox
Here's the counterintuitive data: 63% of traffic is direct, not organic. This screams brand recall and repeat usage, not discovery. Only 24% comes from organic search—yet their top keywords reveal a strategic masterstroke. They rank for 'is zocdoc legit' (2,600 volume) and 'trustpilot case studies' (1,980 volume). They're not just building a product; they're intercepting the decision-making moments of their competitors' customers.
The tech stack tells a story of pragmatic efficiency. WordPress for content, Cloudflare for protection, and a jQuery/Bootstrap frontend that prioritizes function over flash. This isn't a VC-funded rocket ship burning cash on React rewrites. It's a bootstrapped workhorse focused on shipping features that agencies actually need: automation that saves time and customization that justifies premium pricing.
- White-label architecture lets agencies brand it as their own premium service
- Automation-first approach reduces manual review chasing from hours to minutes
- Customization layer enables agencies to mark up the platform 3-5x for clients
- Direct traffic dominance indicates high customer retention and platform stickiness
The Quiet Monopoly Play
Grade.us proves you don't need to be the biggest player when you can own the infrastructure everyone else builds on top of. For founders: ask yourself if you're building a product or a platform—because Grade.us chose platform and is quietly winning.

The service support is non-existent
The service support is non-existent. I've been trying to cancel for over a year, and the functionality to do so has been removed. The support contact refuses to reply and they keep hitting my card.
WARNING: Grade.us will change their pricing on you without notice and refuse to refund you for any prepayments.
I was a happy customer until things starting changing at Gradeus and they decided to make a money grab and increase their fees. This company arbitrarily increases their license fees without much notice, and then also changes their terms to justify why they can't issue a refund for prepayments for white labeling their dashboard. It seems that ever since this company merged/rebranded as Traject, they have been making bad moves so they are literally doubling license fees to make more money at the cost of the SMB's the claim to be supporting. If you sign up with them, expecting to pay a certain license fee, be forewarned that they may change it on you in the future and will not refund you anything you prepay. Bait and switch. Shame on you Gradeus, Gradeus.com and now Traject. Money is more important than fairness and customer satisfaction.
