Hyper wear elite vest - fabric is developing holes under the weights
Very disappointed. The fabric quality is extremely poor. I have owned the vest for 15 weeks, and the fabric around some of the exterior weight pockets is already threadbare. In several areas, small holes are forming directly beneath the weights. I purchased the vest for walking my small dog and chose the 10 lb option rather than 15 lb, noting that additional weights can be added by doubling up in the pockets. Despite this light, low-impact use, the vest is failing. Customer service refused to replace it, claiming the holes are due to “wear and tear” rather than a fabric defect. If the vest cannot withstand 15 weeks of daily walking without developing holes, it is clearly not suitable for the activities they advertise—running, strength training, HIIT—or for the additional weights they claim can be added. High price does not guarantee quality. Do not waste your money.
Rigid Customer Service Despite Immediate Post-Order Request
