I have been a customer of I drive for…
I have been a customer of I drive for many years and never had an issue with them that tech could not solve in a timely fashion. I backup servers as well as workstations and never have a problem, The only problem we encountered is long file names which is not their fault when restoring this is a Windows problem. Restored to servers and workstations no problem. Installing on a computer or server that I have replaced again no problem I can't see why they are rated so low and strongly recommend them for backup.
IDrive Microsoft Office 365 Backup Review
I have been searching for a way to backup my O365 emails, OneDrive, calendar, and tasks. Most of the offerings are client-side software. All of the ones that I tried failed because of permission issues, security, or just bugs. IDrive O365 backup is completely cloud based! There was no client software to install. I simply logged into O365 and told IDrive what I wanted backed up. It did everything for me. The web dashboard is excellent, allowing me to review backups, view entries, and easily restore any object. It automatically found all the mailboxes in my O365 account, and asked if I wanted those backed up as well. Having tried, and failed, at so many other offerings, I was so pleasantly surprised how well thought out and executed IDrive is. It was so nice, I discovered IDrive does backups for computers, Dropbox, Google, and so many others, that I upgraded my plan to include their other backup options. All of their backup services are integrated into their web portal, making management much easier.

Easy to Use and Great Customer Service!!
Not sure why IDrive has such a low rating since I have found the software to be exceptional and easy to use, as well as excellent customer service. I had to switch CPUs from Windows 10 to a new one with Windows 11 and IDrive walked me through backing up and restoring my entire system with no problems. Highly recommend IDrive for anyone looking for a great cloud back-up service!
Good Service
They have affordable plans and they have a presence for years. Their client is not very polished and some services need to run in the background but they do the job well. The photo backup needs a lot of work as for now its just an upload tool of photos and not much more.
If you care about your files...
It has a lot of features and cheap plans. I've purchased a plan mainly to use the Cloud Drive feature and keep my files synced between devices. Unfortunately it comes with a few issues: - it generates a lot of conflicted copy files (around 1GB over 10GB of my data) - syncing is slow and sometimes it doesn't sync at all. So you have to do that manually... But the real issue happened one day after powering up a device that was off since a few days. Well, iDrive overwrote the most recent files with old versions. From there i moved back to Dropbox.
