Would not give me quote part 2 update
I wrote a review about the experience that I had on November 7th and getting charged $295 for getting my car unlocked cuz I left the keys in it. That part itself was a bad experience, but let me tell you, 8:00 a.m. the next morning after they read my review I was being called by the main company in Kentucky. As of Monday this week on the 24th of November I have received a check for a full refund even though I only ask to get the difference and what it should have cost and what they charged me. They said no we have a 100% money back guarantee so they gave me 100% of my money back! I just have to say that their customer service was amazing all I had to do was send in my receipts and give them a time and phone numbers of where I called and no harassment no problems they gave me 100% refund so kudos to their customer service! Thank you so much Key Me main office for fixing what was broken.
So I went to the Keyme kiosk in Walmart…
So I went to the Keyme kiosk in Walmart with a 2002 dodge transponder key on 10/26 , I recieved the key in the mail 11/7. I was just in need of a spare key so I am happy with results opposed to getting the dealer to make a key for double the price. For my needs 5 stars.
Just call a vendor directly. No transparency on price
This is more of a review of KeyMe than the vendor in Maryland. Your phone service sucks. It took a long time for anyone to answer, and it sounded like I woke the lady up. There was no discussion of price. Vendor asked me when he got here if they had told me.$489 dollars to unlock my truck. The vendor was great but KeyMe's service sucked. Vendor was billed as 24-7 locksmith 600 Bromley Street Silver Spring,MD 301-454-9782. You probably should just deal with them or another local vendor directly. I won't be making these mistakes again at that price.
Got absolutely scammed
Got absolutely scammed! Never been charged $250 for a locksmith job before! The guy said he will be here in 20-25 and doesn’t show up until an hour and proceed to charge me $250. He calls himself the doctor, very unprofessional. Will not be using their services anymore. I highly recommend another company
Horrible services and billing
I call them thought they were local ended up being some Call center that pushed it out to someone else who showed up the next day, ended up drilling out one of my locks because he couldn't pick it damaged it. And then rekeyed my lock on the front door and it's not working at all called to ask to have it repaired. No answer charge me almost $300 Other local locksmiths said they would charge less than a $100 same service would not advise anyone to use these guys, big scam.
