Osram led fixture 100,000 burning hours already defective
I bought Osram LED fixtures in 2019, one of which is now defective. The fixtures were sold with the mention of a minimum of 100,000 burning hours. Not so. The fixture hangs in the basement, where hardly anyone comes. The following arguments were put forward: The basement can be wet, which can affect the fixture. The temperatures in a basement can vary... Such arguments are ridiculous. The basement is dry, and it is a splash-proof luminaire, intended for spaces such as basements. For a brand like Osram you would expect that they ensure that bad products are compensated. Of course I indicated that I did not agree not to compensate for the fixture. There was no more response.

I have 4 Orbis Kite Smart+ lamps. Over the past two years, I have had to replace all 4 under warranty because they break down quite quickly (the last one after 6 months). This is far too poor quality, and it’s really frustrating to have to replace ceiling lamps all the time. Fix your lamps, or 'close up shop'.
