Leisure Leagues is hands down the best small-sided football league I’ve ever played in! From the moment you sign up, everything is professionally managed, making it easy to get started. The communication is excellent, with clear fixtures, league tables, and regular updates. The matches are always well-organised, with FA-accredited referees ensuring fair play and a competitive but friendly atmosphere. The quality of the pitches is top-notch, and the equipment is well-maintained, making every game enjoyable. One of the things I love most is the structure of the leagues. Every week, there’s a real sense of competition, with league standings, top scorer charts, and even Man of the Match awards, adding an extra level of excitement. Whether you’re playing for fun or taking it seriously, there’s something for everyone. The sense of community is fantastic too. The teams are a mix of experienced players and newcomers, and the league welcomes all abilities, which creates a great social environment. Plus, the prizes for winners and runners-up make it even more rewarding! If you’re looking for a well-run, competitive, and enjoyable football experience, I highly recommend Leisure Leagues. It’s a great way to stay active, improve your game, and be part of an amazing football community. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Awful business
Awful business, poorly run. Lots of money for 20 minutes of football No control over the teams, non existent customer service. Run by a very rude lady who can only be described as a bully

If I could give zero stars I would, can't be bothered to write about them, it's just awful, exactly the same as soccer sixes, just want your money. There's better organisations out there, Mansfield Mind FC is where I've gone, less money, more football and it's 9/11 aside, no brainer really. Leisure Leagues are money grabbing bullies.
We’ve been playing in a Leisure Leagues…
We’ve been playing in a Leisure Leagues 5-a-side league for a few months now and the standard of refereeing and player safety has been extremely concerning. There have been serious injuries happening almost every week and the referees appear to have little control over the games. In several matches they’ve barely watched key incidents and often seem unaware of what has actually happened on the pitch. One player in our league suffered a snapped ankle in three places and the referee didn’t even see the incident. Situations like that make you question how closely the games are being monitored. When players raise concerns or ask referees to deal with dangerous play, the response often seems to be immediate bookings or sending players off. It feels like any complaint is treated as dissent rather than being taken seriously. On top of that, fines are issued for being sent off, and there are warnings about debt collectors if those fines aren’t paid, which doesn’t feel fair when the underlying issue is poor officiating and safety concerns. I have personally contacted the organisers multiple times about the standard of refereeing and the lack of protection for players, but nothing appears to change. In our most recent game, a player jumped on my back and forced my head towards the ground during the fall. The referee didn’t intervene and instead sent me off when I asked him to deal with the incident. At the end of the day this is supposed to be a recreational league where people come to enjoy football, but player safety should be the priority. Until the refereeing standards and handling of dangerous play improve, I wouldn’t recommend this league.

If the small print were in bold and highlighted clearly, you wouldn't have any customers or business. The management here are unprofessional bullies that force you to play every game - if you dont, they threaten you with a £35 fee. If you try and leave? They threaten you with a £70 fee. If you dont pay? They threaten with debt collection. Terrible company!!! MAKE THE SMALL PRINT T&C BIGGER SO PEOPLE ARE FULLY INFORMED... NO ONE IS GOING TO READ PAGES ON PAGES OF T&C FOR A GAME OF 6-A-SIDE.
