Moro.com: The $2.2M Heavy Industry Ghost
A 22-person powerhouse generating $2.2M in revenue with zero web traffic?
In a digital age obsessed with traffic and SEO, moro.com is a fascinating anomaly. This is not a B2C startup chasing viral growth; it's a heavyweight in heavy industry and engineering, operating quietly behind a 'For Sale' lander while generating millions in revenue. This is the story of a company that doesn't need the internet to exist.
"Moro.com proves that in heavy industry, revenue doesn't come from clicks—it comes from contracts."
The Anti-Digital Business Model
While most tech companies obsess over conversion funnels and ad spend, moro.com operates with zero organic search traffic and zero direct traffic. Their digital footprint is minimal—just a GoDaddy lander and a privacy policy. Yet, they command a $2.2M revenue stream with a lean 22-person team. This suggests a business model built on deep industry relationships, proprietary technology, or high-barrier-to-entry services where web presence is irrelevant.
The Tech Stack Paradox
Despite having no visible product, moro.com's tech stack tells a story of modern infrastructure. They use Next.js for frontend development, Tailwind CSS for styling, and Klarna for payments. This indicates they aren't a legacy dinosaur—they've invested in modern tooling. The presence of Zendesk suggests customer support infrastructure, hinting at an active user base that simply doesn't interact via the public web.
The Trustpilot rating of 2.3/5 from 7 reviews is the most revealing data point. It confirms an active customer base, but also suggests significant friction in their service delivery. In heavy industry, low ratings often stem from complex logistics, supply chain issues, or mismatched expectations—problems that can't be solved with a better website.
- Revenue ≠ Web Traffic: A clear case study in B2B industrial models that bypass traditional digital marketing
- Lean Operations: $100k revenue per employee indicates high-margin, specialized services
- The 'For Sale' Facade: The domain landing page may be a strategic placeholder, not an exit signal
- Modern Tools, Traditional Business: Using Next.js and Klarna to power what appears to be an analog operation
Moro.com is a Blueprint for Invisible Scale
For founders and investors: Sometimes the most valuable businesses are the ones you can't find on Google. The real question isn't why their traffic is zero—it's why their revenue is $2.2M.

I wish I searched for reviews before…
I wish I searched for reviews before placing a order with Moro.com. All of these reviews are accurate-- Moro.com is a SCAM/FRAUD! I've been waiting over a year for a Miniform Ramblas cabinet (order placed on 3/31/22) that cost $4900. Both Jose and Anel keep making excuses as to why the product has not shipped. After countless emails, phone calls, online chats (none of which are working anymore) I finally filed a claim with my credit card company. I also filed a complaint with FTC. This company should be shut down.
Don’t Do It
Man, I sure wish I would’ve seen these reviews before ordering a $7,000.00 pendant light from the Moro.com website. My experience has been exactly the same: assurances from Jose that the delays were due to supply chain, but that the product would shortly arrive (he said January 29th). Then nothing. No response to email, or phone messages left. Now the Customer Service link on the website sends a bounce-back email. I’m going to proceed through AMEX and try to get a refund, but I’m not optimistic, given the passage of time (while I thought I was waiting for the product to arrive). Moro.com is a criminal enterprise. Avoid at all costs.
I ordered a bookshelf about a year ago
I ordered a bookshelf about a year ago. They continually said supply chain issues were delaying to product. Every few months I’d check in and they’d give some bogus update on where it was. Enough is enough…stay away from this SCAM company.
Jose Coreas is a scammer
Jose Coreas is a scammer, makes false promises and refuses to refund. I had to file a claim with the card company. Promised a bed with delivery of Christmas, I ordered in October. It did not arrive. Nearing the end of January, would keep telling me that he would reply by “end of day”, “tomorrow” for an ETA. I contacted the manufacturer who told me it would not arrive till end of summer. Jose clearly knows this and lies thru his teeth to hold on to over 5K of my money. Do not trust this site. It was previously WeLiv which also had terrible reviews.
Avoid this company.
Avoid this company. I work for a professional design company and we read and re-read return policies ahead of purchasing items from vendors. This company has violated their 30 day return policy and will not issue a refund. The shelf we ordered was also shipped with a missing leg post and customer service reps Jose Coreas and Anel Rios’ only solution was to have us purchase another post separately for $350. This item was also a "quick ship, in stock" item and took a month to arrive. There has still been no resolution since and we have had to dispute the $995 cost with the bank. The phone number on the site leads to a dead end phone tree and email responses are few and extremely delayed.
