AVOID Anderson A2 Charger
All was well until EVIOS acquired Andersen, since then there has been no app support at all. They have been tinkering with it and changing things around releasing version after version that don’t fix any of the issues to the point where the ability to schedule charging is non existent. As soon as the time is reached for charging to commence the schedule ends and the car fails to charge. This has resulted in having to manually set the unit to charge outside the charging window at a much higher cost. It has caused such charging anxiety, not knowing if the car will be charged or not by the following morning, which is now consistently the case. Over 2 months has now passed and no fix. The charger is now effectively dumb and has no smart functionality at all. Save yourself 50% of the cost of one of these and get yourself something much more reliable. I have a 5 year old Pod Point and an EO Mini at another property, used daily by my family and both have been totally faultless in that time and are half the price. The beauty of these chargers really is only skin deep!
