My Home Move: The Conveyancing Scale-Up
A $72M revenue company quietly revolutionizing a legacy industry
In a market dominated by high-street solicitors and fragmented local firms, My Home Move isn't just processing property transactions—it's industrializing them. With a unique blend of traditional service values and aggressive tech adoption, they've built a $71.9M revenue engine in a sector notoriously resistant to change.
"The real innovation here isn't just the tech stack—it's the operational model that turns conveyancing from a bespoke service into a scalable product."
The B2B2C Playbook
My Home Move's genius lies in its channel strategy. Rather than fighting for direct consumer attention in a crowded market, they've built a powerful B2B2C moat. By serving Introducers (mortgage brokers, estate agents, financial advisors), they've created a referral engine that accounts for 61% of their traffic. This isn't just efficient—it's defensible. Every estate agent they partner with becomes a sales rep, while the end client never leaves their ecosystem.
The Scale Paradox
Here's the tension: My Home Move processes thousands of conveyancing transactions annually, yet their organic search presence is surprisingly modest. Monthly visits hover around 3,360, with global rank at #5.3M. This isn't a failure—it's a strategic choice. They're not competing for 'conveyancing' keywords. Instead, they own branded searches ('my home move conveyancing' gets 670 monthly searches) and direct traffic. They've essentially opted out of the SEO arms race, betting instead on referral partnerships and brand loyalty.
Their tech stack reveals the same pragmatic approach. They're using modern tools like Tailwind CSS, Vite, and PWA capabilities, but they're not over-engineering. The presence of Contentful suggests a headless CMS strategy, while Google Analytics and Tag Manager indicate data-driven optimization. Yet the 2.5/5 Trustpilot score from just 5 reviews tells a story of operational friction. In a service business where trust is everything, this rating—however small the sample—is a red flag that deserves scrutiny.
- Traditional service values meet modern tech: They're not disrupting for disruption's sake; they're augmenting human touchpoints with digital efficiency
- Introducer-first strategy: Building a moat through B2B partnerships rather than direct-to-consumer marketing
- Regulatory focus: With a Head of Regulatory Oversight and Legal Director on the team, they're prioritizing compliance in a heavily regulated sector
- Operational scale: 242 employees supporting $71.9M revenue suggests ~$297K revenue per employee—healthy for services
The Quiet Giant of Conveyancing
My Home Move proves you don't need viral marketing to build a $70M business. You need a defensible channel strategy and the operational backbone to deliver at scale. The question isn't whether they can grow—it's whether they can maintain service quality as they scale further.

Really disappointing communication
Really disappointing communication: we’ve had complaints about you from our estate agent, our buyer’s solicitor, the solicitor for our purchase, and our developer, so far. It’s fairly embarrassing at this point.
Total incompetence
We're in the process of trying to buy a house and the vendors are using this company as solicitors. The whole process has been painful. At every step, My Home Move has been slow and ineffective. We've been waiting for simple documents from them for three weeks, with our estate agent spending hours on the phone trying to get through each day. Having received the documents they're completely wrong. They haven't informed their clients correctly which has meant long wait times and more work for us. Our solicitors have told us they've never worked with any company that is so bad. I'd urge anyone thinking about going with My Home Move to reconsider - it's not worth it
Conveyance solicitor did nothing for 2 months
Wasted 2 months. I have been assigned Eilleen Robertson after I signed up and paid £375 upfront. During the two months period, the only three emails from the solicitor is asking for ID, which I have uploaded to the portal and email her a couple of time. Phone line listed waited for 30 mins, no phone answered the phone. If someone answers, the people you ask for will always in meeting and never call back or email back. Now I have got the refund of the initial money, but totally wasted two months. Avoid at all cost.
You want to stay at Airbnb due to delays of conveyances and lots of headache? Here is the address!
They were seller's solicitor and I was the buyer! It was taking them ages to respond to my solicitor. I stayed almost two months in Airbnb due to their slow responses and ambiguities! I just dont know who hires such solicitors with such reviews just because they are working for cheap and later they become a headache for all!
Poor Practice from Start to Finish
Expected a Remortgage to be easy for a company like this but it took far too long. Rarely had contact from the actual Conveyancer himself and his colleagues seemed totally incompetent - our lenders comments "right hand doesn't know what the left is doing".
