Spam from hell
Free email accounts but I've never seen as much spam in an inbox in my life. You literally have to wade through the spam to find your legitimate emails.
What an absolut $*"t show!!
Been with these clowns for around 25 years and remember them when they used to be a decent company. Out of contract and was keen to move but saw a deal which seemed too good to be true so agreed to sign up for another 2 years. Requested I keep my old number as it is for work, has been for 30 years. Have done this before a number of times without a hitch as it's surely the simplest situation, same company new contract. Today the phone arrives with a new sim and I am notified I am now the proud owner of 2 accounts and 2 telephone numbers. O2 have admitted they have messed up but not a problem you might think. Just assign my old number to my new account.... Simples. Oh No. I have to use the new number for 24 hours and then they can swap it over which may take 24 hours so basically 2 days where nobody can contact me. Can't happen I say. Just close the new account then and open another one the correct way if you have to. Yes we can do that but you need to return the new opened phone, opened watch and opened buds and start again (by which I miss the deal and they get a load of second hand devices???). I'd imagine given the quality of the staff they employ now this is not the first time this has happened so you might think someone with an IQ in double figures may have come up with a simple solution. The fact trying to resolve anything involves speaking to overseas call centres with bad English and children screaming in the back doesn't help so back to the drawing board to look for a company that's competent. Anyone know of any reputable networks?
O2 contacted me regarding my last…
O2 contacted me regarding my last review about them and my last review stated that after I chose an O2 Black Friday deal with O2 and by the end that deal turned into a £14 deal. They contacted me to up grade me. My payments now are £8. The upgrade would have been £14. It seems they only ever offer me £14 deals
Problems with O2
I hold two O2 mobile numbers for several years, and I renewed my contract on February 24 adding O2 travel inclusive. This was discussed and my exact needs explained to the O2 agent who further checked with her manager, and assured me that I will be able to use my O2 data entitlement at my requested destination at no extra charge. The call is supposed to be recorded. Unfortunately, I found both my mobile lines not connected to Internet on arriving to my travel destination. A message from O2 recommended adding a bolt, which I did but noted that O2 starting to charge me dearly on daily basis fir each line. I emailed O2 Complaint Review Service and an automated email promised a reply within 7 working days. After 11 working days passed, I emailed again, the same automated email was sent promising a reply in 7 working days. Here I am, stuck abroad, avoiding a very expensive international call to O2 to discuss the problem, with O2 failing to respect agreed items of contract and failing to respond to my emails.

Just made a call to o2 insurance - placed on hold for 50 + minutes for an agent to answer and ask how she can help? I explain it’s the final stage of the insurance claim and ask if this would take much longer and she said something which I didn’t understand then hung up! I then received an automated tone of “our office is now closed” absolutely unbelievable call was 1 hour 12 minutes in total to be hung up on.
