🚲 Disappointing Experience with OKAI E-Bike & Customer Service I recently purchased an OKAI e-bike with high expectations, given the brand’s reputation for innovation and quality. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite. From the moment my order arrived, I encountered a defective e-bike: EB-40. I immediately contacted OKAI customer service expecting swift support. Instead, I have been met with delays, generic replies, and no meaningful resolution. For a premium-priced product, this is unacceptable. Customers should not be left chasing accountability for weeks, especially when dealing with defects on a brand-new purchase. I have now escalated my case directly to OKAI’s executive team, requesting immediate resolution, but the lack of urgency so far is deeply concerning. If unresolved, I chose OKAI in good faith, and I hope the company will step up and demonstrate that it truly stands behind its products and customers. Until then, I cannot recommend OKAI to anyone considering a purchase.
The worst customer service email hell
Don’t get me wrong, I like the scooter, I got two of the for an award at work. One came in with a bad battery. I contacted them online, takes them two days to respond, uploaded photos, videos, invoice and they said, it has a bad battery. It’s brand new, I have sent them everything and the back and forth emails are just unacceptable. It’s been over a month and still no resolution.
Horrible customer support
I sent in my electric scooter for warranty repair, they told me i needed to send everything that came with the scooter back to them and clean it before hand. I cleaned the whole scooter with Clorox wipes and sent back everything that came with it. When i got returned the scooter they supposedly repaired, it had the same issue as when i sent it in (Battery management system faulty). It was also sent back to me with more issues then when it left me, as well as missing the charger and tools that come with the scooter, i sent those back with the scooter because they said they needed everything that came with the scooter or they would not warranty repair it. They told me to send it back to them and they would refund me (neon ultra es40, $1000 was the scooter's price) and i sent it back to them, they confirmed they have received it, but they will not refund me, and they will no longer contact me back no matter how much i try to contact them. This scooter came with a 2-year warranty when i bought it, and i originally sent it for the warranty repairs 3 months after i purchased it.

THEY HAD ONE PERSON ANSWERING THE PHONE, AND HE HAD NO IDEA HOW TO HELP ME PROGRAM MY FOB FOR MY OKAI SCOOTER! ONE PERSON!!!! LMAO!!!
