After about an hour, the driver came back to me and said that he hadn’t received the payment. I showed him my bank statement, proving that the payment was made from my side to Porter. The driver told me, “I don’t know, I need my payment on GPay on my number. You should pay again because I came back here.” I told him, “I’ve already made the payment, and I have proof. You should contact Porter — this is your issue, not mine.” He said, “The payment you made must have gone to Porter’s wallet.” I checked there, but it showed ₹0. I said, “Do whatever you need to, this is between you and Porter.” I even showed him the invoice, but he argued and left. Then I called customer care, but it was just a bot call. Later, the driver called me again and said that he had now received the payment. I asked him, “Then what was the point of creating a scene here?” He said, “It was your mistake.” I replied, “This issue is between you and Porter. Why are you involving me in it?” He then said, “Now try booking through Porter again; I’ll see how your parcel gets delivered.” It was a very bad experience with both the driver and Porter.
