I bought my disney plus plan over there and my account being new I haven't received the cashback back until now, and it's past 48 hours
Their "automated security system" is just a tool to ban legit users
I really don't know what business are they doing! I have been using Rakuten insight for years and participating in their surveys, however, I have decided to close my account, because there is no point of continuing using it. It took me ages to fill out all their surveys so that I could withdraw some money, but when I wanted to do that, they declined my withdraw because of their automatic security system.

They cancel orders with no warning or explanation. The only way you find out is by logging in to their site and checking the order status. Their system doesn't immediately give you the option to put your billing address in another country. So when I wasn't having success with orders, I added my billing address. Guess what that means? They lock you out of your account! For adding your billing address when you have never had a successful credit card order with them! And good luck if you want to put USA in the country field. That's not an option! But US minor outlying islands is, American Samoa is, but not the US! Not only that, but they don't email you, text you, or call you to let you know your account is locked. The only way I found out was to check on the order. Then they make you fill in on your information again to unlock your account, and then they tell you it will be 2-3 days before they can reply! So if you have an unread message from a seller (like I do), and you can't log in to read the message, and payment hasn't gone through yet (because of the credit card issue), then guess what? The seller will just cancel your order before you're able to log back in! And do you really think that seller is going to want to sell to you again? The only thing that works (before I got locked out) is to pay at a convenience store, and even then most of the time the seller doesn't send the link to pay at konbini! It's a 30 minute walk round trip for me to the konbini. Out of like 10 placed orders, I have had ONE successful order! It's absurd. Hop on Amazon and the item is there the next day. I don't know how Rakuten can even compete. I hope Amazon gets more and more items added.
Professional Scammers! They block your account right before payout!
I have finally realized that Rakuten Insights is nothing but a data-harvesting scam. I had accumulated a sufficient number of points after a couple of weeks, and I had hit a redemption threshold. I was sitting on around 600-700 points, and my gift cards were supposed to be dispatched on 15-04-2026. Unfortunately, on the day before my reward period, Rakuten suspended my account with no reason at all. Here is how their fraud works: Payout Scam: They offer extremely poor payouts for boring surveys that take forever to complete. Once you accumulate enough to get paid out, you have to wait 15 days. The Last-Minute Ban: They allow you access for almost the entire period before the gift card is due. But then they ban your account from accessing the survey in the last 24 hours. Data Scam: They are definitely selling our private data to large companies and earning huge profits. However, they act like robbers when it comes to compensating us. Zero-Point Scams: It happened to me many times where I had to complete an entire survey but was given 0 points right at the end. My recommendation: Don’t even think of wasting one minute on this scam website. They don’t care whether you are giving high-quality data or not. If you start earning, they will snatch your account. Rakuten Insights, shame on you guys. Pure scams. Avoid them at all costs.
