These shoes are overpriced garbage. Most uncomfortable shoes I've ever bought. They do not break in and feel worse every time I wear them. Worn 6 - 8 times and they won't refund my money. Run don't walk away from this company!

I recently purchased a pair of shoes from Riomar, attracted by their claim of being waterproof. Excited to have footwear that could withstand various conditions, I was happy to find a nice shoe for my husband for wearing on the boat when going out to eat. My experience however with Riomar shoes has been nothing short of disappointing. The shoes indeed have a sleek design and seemed promising at first. However, the claim of being waterproof was quickly disproven when I noticed that they stained easily from something as minor as condensation from a glass. This was a stark contrast to the assurance provided by the company that their shoes could withstand moisture. Feeling let down by the product's performance and the fact that after one wear they were not presentable to wear, I attempted to reach out to Riomar Shoes. Multiple times through calls, emails, and even in person, hoping to resolve the issue or receive some form of assistance I reached out. Unfortunately, my attempts were first met with only one unhelpful email response and then when I replied to them that their suggestion to remove the stains did not help I received silence, literally no response to my email response or my phone call. Needless to say this left me frustrated and dissatisfied with the company's customer service. It's disheartening to invest in an expensive product that doesn't live up to its advertised claims, and even more so when the company fails to stand behind its product or address customer concerns. Riomar Shoe’s lack of accountability and support in resolving this matter has left me with a negative impression of the brand. Based on my experience I can only say buyer beware if you purchase overpriced shoes from Riomar shoes. Despite their claims of being waterproof, the shoes easily stain from minimal moisture exposure, they do not stand behind their brand and the company's customer service leaves much to be desired.
