Former Scottish Power …
I am a former Scottish Power customer and I strongly recommend staying away from this company. They claimed I owed £4.41, which I was unaware of, and I only found out after it affected my credit score something I’ve worked hard to build to buy a home. The notice was sent to my email and ended up in my junk folder, with no postal letter sent. Very disappointing experience.
Scottish Power - forget them!
I went to Scottish Power as they were apparently one of two companies that could offer 7 hour off-peak electricity with an inclusive 3 hour afternoon boost, through a smart meter. They confirmed this by telephone but lied! All they offered was 10 hours off-peak at strange times, after the meter was fitted. Numerous phone calls to people who could not understand that my storage heaters were not timer controlled fell on deaf ears. After just 6 months I have moved to Octopus - what a difference in customer care! They could not he more helpful.
The worst energy supplier there is
The worst energy supplier there is. Rude, aggressive, and rather stupid from my findings. Constantly threatening and harassing OAP’s. Claiming in excess of £1,000 from my mum who has an empty property - no heating, no lights. Just a kettle popped on once in a while whilst visiting. They seem to think 8-9 weeks of the occasional kettle boil it worth that. Despite multiple complaints, and visits, their pushy, rude and stupid staff will not address the issue. Instead they just send threats around the clock.

Very rude customer service - got a call from someone wanting to give me a quote, I said I was busy in a meeting right now, and he simply hung up. I will never move to Scottish Power on the back of this.
