RE/DONE: The $54M Denim Revival
How a vintage denim brand built a modern empire on deconstructed Levi's
RE/DONE isn't just selling jeans—they're selling a story of resurrection. By taking vintage Levi's 501s, cutting them up, and remaking them into modern fits, they've built a $53.9M lifestyle brand that proves nostalgia can be profitable.
"RE/DONE proves you don't need to invent the wheel—you just need to reinvent the classic."
The Cult Following
With 51% direct traffic, RE/DONE has built a fiercely loyal community. Customers don't just browse—they type 'shopredone.com' directly into their browser. That's not SEO; that's brand obsession. The 1.7/5 Trustpilot rating (from just 20 reviews) suggests a polarizing but passionate customer base.
The Vintage Gold Rush
Their top keyword—'redone' with 29,910 monthly searches—shows they own their brand name. But 'redone jeans' (1,780 searches) and 're/done sale' (230 searches) reveal customers are hunting for deals on their premium denim. The real insight? They're capturing specific product searches like 'shrunken baseball raglan' (240 searches), showing deep product-level loyalty.
The tech stack tells a story of performance and experience. They're using Vite for speed, GSAP for animations, and Swiper for product browsing—classic DTC playbook. But the presence of Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap suggests a lean engineering team moving fast. The PWA detection hints at mobile-first ambitions, crucial for a fashion brand.
- Vintage sourcing creates scarcity: Each piece is literally one-of-a-kind
- Modern fits bridge generations: Nostalgia meets contemporary style
- Direct traffic dominance: 51% of visitors come directly, not through search
- Niche product capture: Specific items drive targeted, high-intent traffic
The Vintage Playbook is Working
At $54M with 215 employees, RE/DONE proves sustainable fashion can be profitable when you own the narrative. Their direct traffic dominance shows they've built a brand, not just a store.

Great service
Great service, fast delivery from US to UK. Will be ordering again from them!
Very Uncomfortable Shoes
I purchased some beautiful clogs recently from Re/Done, my first purchase from this shop. Unfortunately, I relied on the reviews that raved about how extremely comfortable the shoes are. To me, they're quite painful. They look so nice that I thought to keep them and wear them a little bit, just walking inside the house, to break them in slowly. I can't walk 10 steps in them without causing bad pain, in multiple areas of my feet. I even purchased them a little big (I wear a 39 and purchased a 40). They fit small, strangle my foot across the top, and cause pain in the arch. It feels similar to walking on cement with bare feet, only while the feet are being painfully squeezed in addition. I attempted to return them, but they're not returnable. I paid $255 for a pair of shoes that I can't wear. This is unbelievable to me. Live and learn. I won't be buying anything from Re/Done again. Be aware that "final sale" means "non-returnable." I gave a two on the rating because the shoes appear solidly made of nice materials, and they look very nice. But what good are they if you can't wear them?
not the best website
I absolutely love the RE/DONE store, it’s my favorite store however the website is not up to the level of the stores. I bought the matching top with the cardigan I got in the store, and the website said it would arrive between 3-4 days and i still haven’t gotten a confirmation number and there is no client service E-mail I can message this situation to because they don’t have one and the chat business is slow. So basically they just ship orders as they come and go and as they please?
Don't buy from Eredon
Took more than 2 weeks to arrive. When the 'Ralph Lauren' jumper arrived it was a very poor quality replica. I contacted them the same day about returning, it took them over a week to reply, they asked for photos and proof of purchase, which I sent back the same day. It's now 10 days later and still no response or return address to send the item back. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM
Do not order from this company
Do not order from this company. They are a con. The products are cheaply made, badly packaged. I had to wait 3 weeks for my order. No correspondence from them, the tracking link was useless. This is a Chinese company, that sell cheap imitations.
