The Customers Service Team, Tesco Superstore in Banbury, who let us use their toilet, late at night on the 16th of September, 2026 deserve an award. They were all so friendly and 'happy to help'. Refunded wrong item sent, very satisfied
I did an online shop and I was sent the wrong item. I phoned customer services to request a refund and they did this with no qualms once I'd explained the situation. Given my very negative experiences with @sd@ regarding refunds for faulty or missing items, I was very pleasantly surprised. Thank you Tesco, a big thumbs up from me!
Outstanding Customer Service from Josh
Outstanding Customer Service from Josh I went into the Tesco Phone Shop in Sheerness today and was served by Josh and I genuinely cannot praise him highly enough. Josh was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He sorted out my new mobile phone contract and helped me find a better deal that will save me money in the longer term. But what really stood out was the time, care and attention he gave to transferring everything from my old phone to my new one. I had a large amount of data to transfer, including precious photographs and videos of my parents when they were alive. These are irreplaceable and incredibly important to me, so I was naturally anxious that everything transferred safely. Josh completely understood this and took such care to make sure everything was done properly. The whole process took nearly an hour, but at no point did I feel rushed or that I was taking up too much of his time. Nothing was too much trouble. While we were waiting for the transfer, I also had the opportunity to see Josh dealing with other customers and I was equally impressed by the way he treated every single person. He patiently advised another gentleman about renewing his contract, reassured an elderly lady who was worried about how much credit she had left on her phone, and helped another customer understand what she needed to do when her contract came up for renewal. He was patient, knowledgeable, respectful and genuinely pleasant with everyone. Josh clearly knows his stuff, but just as importantly, he knows how to treat people. That combination of knowledge, patience, kindness and excellent customer service is something you don't always come across. Josh is an outstanding employee and a real credit to Tesco in Sheerness. Quite frankly, if there is a promotion or a pay rise available, he deserves it! Thank you, Josh, for looking after me and, particularly, for taking such care with those precious memories of my parents. It meant more to me than you probably realised.
