Convenient but take videos and photos
Updated 06/08/25 Toosla got in touch with me, confirmed that there was no damage and refunded the charge. There are definitely conveniences with this type of digital app rental e.g. late check in but be sure to take photos and videos of the car at pickup and drop off as there is no agent to meet you and sign it off. Original review: Beware & Stay away!! It’s important to note that there are no staff when you pick up or drop off the car. Also no way to call them after the rental. In my case, they deducted money from my deposit for damage that was already on the vehicle when I collected it. I immediately complained via email & App demonstrating that the before and after photos in their check in report were the same and their answer was' if you don't receive a response, it will mean that your dispute has not been accepted.’ I tried calling them via the app however this feature is disabled once the rental is over. If you look online there is no customer service number, only contact via app messaging. So a classic case of it looking like a great car hire deal only to be stung on the return of the vehicle. Do yourself a favour and use a traditional car rental company where you can speak to people and actually get the car check in on return.
