Bought a bike for my birthday gift to myself. Bike came nicely packaged and secure. Set up was easy - 15 mins . The only thing I wished they had is the serial written down for us. But overall I would buy again and I’ll spread the word. Thank you Upway!
I purchased a Velotric Nomad 2 on Upway and would do it again.
I purchased a Velotric Nomad 2 on Upway to match a Velotric Discover 2 I purchased on Marketplace for my wife. I wanted to fat tire, while she definitely does not. My bike was described as new - purchased from a dealer and it came with the original parts, tools, books, etcetera. There is a sticky spot on the frame where it looks like a dealers sticker may have been removed, but other than that it's clearly new. The computer connected with my phone app without any issue and the battery charged up as expected (came with 48% charge). I've ridden it several times now and love it. I've added mirrors, a phone mount, and a bag to the back rack for the locks and tools. Assembly took about 25min, but I'm very deliberate in how I build stuff. I'd buy from Upway again. Especially having saved a couple hundred on assembly from the local dealer.

Everything worked and proceeded as advertised. No surprises. Other than being a little overwhelmed by putting the Upway Shipping Box together. But there are video instructions as well as printable instructions, so it really was not a big deal. Just take your time and follow the simple instructions. I shipped my bike out on a Friday and had my payment the following Tuesday (and Monday was MLK Day even). Email communication was timely and clear. I would not hesitate to do business with Upway again. Easy peasy.

Everything has been terrific so far: Matt via chat helped make my decision to buy, the bicycle arrived well packaged (impressive job), and it set up quickly. The only little thing that I encountered was the direction to use a mini-USB to attach to my laptop for the firmware update -- I guess back in 2022, the only type was "A". I was trying to connect a "C" for 15 minutes before this lightning bolt struck. In short, I couldn't be happier (except that it's 10 degrees and snowing in northern Ohio) -- can't wait to get it outside.
