AdMedia: The Anti-Google Ad Network

A 300-person company quietly generating $78M by targeting the edges of digital advertising

While everyone fights for scraps in Google and Facebook's walled gardens, AdMedia has built a $78M business by mastering the art of incremental reach. This isn't another ad tech unicorn—it's a calculated machine that reaches 200M+ US users through search, native, and contextual advertising that operates outside the duopoly's shadow.

"AdMedia doesn't compete with Google—it sidesteps the entire battle by reaching audiences where the duopoly can't or won't go."

The Traffic Paradox

Here's the contradiction that defines AdMedia: they claim to reach 200M+ US users, yet their own site gets only 41K monthly visits. This isn't a weakness—it's the point. AdMedia operates as a pure B2B infrastructure play. Their traffic metrics reflect advertisers logging into dashboards, not end-users consuming content. The 53% direct traffic indicates a loyal advertiser base returning to manage campaigns, while the 36% organic search reveals they're still capturing new demand in a crowded space. The real story is in their top keyword: 'videosense.net' with 24K monthly searches—likely a network property or acquisition channel they're leveraging.

The Anti-Duopoly Strategy

AdMedia's positioning is surgically precise: 'Reach incremental audiences efficiently beyond Google & Facebook.' They've identified a fundamental gap in digital advertising—the 30-40% of users who exist outside the duopoly's perfect targeting. By focusing on search, native, and contextual formats, they're not trying to out-Target Facebook. Instead, they're selling efficiency: incremental reach without incremental competition. This is a smart play for performance marketers drowning in CPM inflation. The 76.6% 'undefined' country traffic (likely US-heavy) suggests they're dominating a specific geographic niche rather than spreading thin globally.

The technology stack reveals a pragmatic, not bleeding-edge approach. jQuery, Bootstrap, and PHP might make tech purists wince, but for a 308-person ad network managing real-time bidding and campaign optimization, reliability trumps innovation. The inclusion of Hotjar and Google Analytics shows they're still optimizing their own conversion funnels—a telling sign of a company that's scaled but hasn't become complacent. Their leadership team (Danny Bibi, Nathan Bibi) suggests a founder-led culture that's maintained operational control through growth.

  • Revenue per employee: ~$256K—healthy for ad tech, indicating strong margins
  • Low Trustpilot score (2.6/5) with only 4 reviews suggests either limited consumer touchpoints or a B2B model that doesn't prioritize public reviews
  • Top keywords show strong brand awareness (5,680 searches for 'admedia') but limited non-branded SEO
  • Social presence across all major platforms indicates active community management
No VC funding—likely bootstrapped or earlier-stage capital
Profitable growth without dilution
Low organic search footprint beyond brand terms
Deep advertiser loyalty (high direct traffic)
Modest web traffic for a $78M revenue company
Clear market positioning against duopoly
Trustpilot rating suggests customer satisfaction issues
Stable leadership team with long tenure

The Quiet Giant Strategy

AdMedia proves you don't need unicorn valuations or Silicon Valley buzz to build a massive, profitable ad business. Sometimes the best moat is simply being the alternative when everyone else is chasing the same audience.

Keep getting spam emails

Keep getting spam emails, no unsubscribe and we certainly didn't agree to these emails from this company, very unprofessional and clearly do not respect peoples privacy.

I signed up to have them build me a website and paid them to manage it for 5 years. I decided to go with a company that I believed would be a better fit for our company. They have fought my and ignored our requests to surrender the necessary information for the transfer. The claim that the customer owns and controls their website is untrue when you see the power they hold over your web presence. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Matt Kercher Kercher Electric LLC

Unfortunate experience where we…

Unfortunate experience where we generated sales and leads, and suddenly we have a $20K+ difference in invoice amounts due to a "technical error" on their end, which apparently only brought upon our attention once we notified them about it (after 2 months). Be aware that the initial tracking was set up together with our ad ops and their tech support, all working 100% fine. This "technical error" (excuse) has been reviewed by reliable and large industry contacts/experts and it's absolute non-sense. Asides, how can that suddenly happen? Furthermore, they mentioned it was a tech error across the whole network on their end, if that was really true (which its not) why don't you notify all your publishing partners about it by yourself? We also did some research, and it was a huge fool around. Seems nice at the start, but unfortunately they're not honest and transparent at all and don't care at all about the relationships with their publishers. Would recommend nobody to do business with them. Furthermore, they don't want to admit their mistakes (even though we have proof of misleading communication and final numbers from their end). After we gave them 3 months to solve this matter with us (of which they mentioned it was urgent on their end, reminder: urgent for 3 months long!) we had to ask our Debt Collector and Legal team to step in as they were keeping us on the line as nothing was happening. Good job Danny Bibi, once again, I told you that if you treat your pubs like this you might win some battles (or actually, ignore them till they stop and don't put efforts in debt collextions/legal), but you will lose the war. My opinion: run if you read this review. There are many other, actual reliable networks to work with and AdMedia is not one of them.
