ArchCare: The $569M Medicaid Giant
How a faith-based nonprofit built a healthcare empire for New York's most vulnerable
In a market dominated by profit-driven giants, ArchCare operates differently: they care for the elderly and disabled where they're most comfortable—home, community, or nursing home. With $569M in revenue and 1,505 employees, this isn't charity; it's a precision-engineered healthcare machine.
"ArchCare isn't just serving the elderly—they're building a vertically integrated care ecosystem that turns Medicaid reimbursement into sustainable growth."
The Hidden Growth Engine
While their global rank of #915,979 seems modest, the 55% organic traffic reveals a powerful strategy. They rank for 'archcare' (640 monthly searches) and 'carmel richmond' (510), but the real goldmine is 'eldercare' (2,940 monthly searches)—a keyword they're not even ranking for yet. This is a company with massive room for SEO growth in a $1.5 trillion industry.
The Trust Paradox
With a 3.7/5 Trustpilot rating from just 1 review, ArchCare's digital reputation is still in its infancy. Yet their 95% US traffic concentration suggests they're not playing a global game—they're dominating a hyper-local market. This is a regional powerhouse, not a scalable startup.
Their tech stack is pragmatic: Tailwind CSS for speed, Cloudflare for reliability, and Google Tag Manager for tracking. But the real insight? They're using Priority Hints and Lazy Loading—techniques that show they care about user experience for an elderly demographic that might be on slower connections.
- Faith-based mission with $569M in revenue—proving ethics and scale aren't mutually exclusive
- Hyper-local dominance: 95% US traffic, minimal international footprint
- Untapped SEO potential: Ranking for branded terms but missing 'eldercare' keyword opportunities
- Leadership team with deep healthcare experience (Scott LaRue, Taimur Mirza)
- Tech stack optimized for accessibility, not flashiness
The Medicaid Playbook
ArchCare proves that in healthcare, boring is profitable. They're not chasing unicorn status—they're building an irreplaceable local infrastructure that turns government reimbursement into a $569M business.

Thank You and Kudos to Archcare at Ferncliff Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center
THANK YOU AND KUDOS TO ‘ARCHCARE@FERNCLIFF NURSING HOME’ FOR MY INITIAL 20-DAYS OF IN-PATIENT ‘REHAB’ IN RECOVERY OF MY ‘ORIF’ FEMUR SURGERY — TUE. DEC. 3, 2019 Hello, my name is Joseph Todaro. On Fri Nov 8 2019 i took a hard fall -- BROKE my LEFT FEMUR and my LEFT HAND. That same day I underwent ORIF surgery on my femur (basically meaning that I now have a LONG TITANIUM ROD and SCREWS holding my thigh bone together). My surgeon, Dr Michael S., was brilliant -- he performed the ORIF surgery on my left femur, and also put a cast on my left hand in just about an hour. Before I realized it, the surgery was over -- I woke up in the recovery room waiting for my wife and a nurse to wheel me back to my room at Northern Dutchess Hospital (NDH). On Tue Nov 12 i was transferred via Ambulette to Ferncliff Nursing Home for 20 days of in-patient rehab (paid 100% by Medicare). On Wed Nov 13 i began my Physical Therapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy.(OT) in the Ferncliff Therapy Gym -- their physical therapists and occupational therapists were all highly skilled professionals. I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU AND KUDOS TO THE FOLLOWING PERSONS: Janice D. — Physical Therapist -- Thank you so much Janice for working so hard in helping me to regain much of the strength of my left leg which I needed to climb up and down the twelve stairs of my home after I was discharged from Ferncliff on Sunday Dec. 1, 2019. Also, the Yoga techniques you taught me, eg, proper breathing and focus, I am convinced played a major part in the excellent progress I made during my last week in the Ferncliff PT-OT gym. Lisa C. — Patient Advocate -- Thank you Lisa for stopping by my room every few days to make sure I was okay or if I had any questions or concerns; Anyway, I come to think of you as my “Patient Advocate” as you always went to bat me no matter what the issue was and I truly appreciate that. Most of all, thank you for hooking me up with Physical Therapist, Janice D. for my last two weeks in the Ferncliff PT-OT gym. It really made a tremendous difference in the progress I was making during my short stay. . Allison C. — Floor 2B Unit Manager -- Thank you Allison for visiting me in my room every several days following my 2-hour morning PT-OT sessions. But most of all, I want to thank you for teaching me orthopedic technique of how to transport myself in-and-out of bed without any assistance from anyone which I need to do the entire first week at Ferncliff. Bobby M. — Occupational Therapist -- Thank you so much Bobby for helping me strengthen my upper body. Moreover, without you, I’d still be trying to figure out how to dress and undress myself, how to get in-and-out of the shower without re-injuring myself using the Tub Transfer Bench I bought from Amazon. Most of all, thank you for teaching me how to strengthen my upper body using those TheraBand resistance bands. I have to say, I really looked forward to my OT sessions with you every day; they were fun, and I couldn’t believe I was sore after working out with those rubber bands. Thanks again Bobby. Sincerely, Joe Todaro
