Amazing and friendly customer service
We had such a wonderful experience with the BC Ferries staff after a mixup put us on the wrong ferry. Annie refunded our money and to make up for our diverted travel, took us on a tour of the bridge. She was extremely kind, helpful and lovely. She also introduced us to Darian who helped us navigate our car as we turned it around to head back to our original destination. It was over and above what we expected and it absolutely made our day.

Bc ferry runs pretty great service with my experiences..but I don't agree with ur no smoking policies, we can't smoke at all smoking doesn't make me jump off ur boat but u allow drinking that's just crazy to me. Smoking still exist and u should give us a spot a place to enjoy are habits to. Don't just cater to the non smokers not really fair.
Arrived 20 minutes before boarding and…
Arrived 20 minutes before boarding and was told that we were on standby. We had made pre reservations so it seems that it does not count. Paid $360.00 for a car and 4 people which we found to be overly expensive. Also had a miniature dachshund with us and had to stand on the outer deck as pets are not allowed inside. Wonder what happens in the winter months. Wind was quite chilly being on 5th outside deck for 1 and a half hours. Not worth the money.
No ferry ,horseshoe bay to departure…
No ferry ,horseshoe bay to departure bay for five hours! It’s the afternoon schedule at present and it is appalling to think there would be no ferry service between these highly populated areas in the middle of the afternoon. This would be prime time for travel and is unacceptable to see this poor schedule offered.
