Bread Pay refused to cancel my loan for merchandise that was never shipped
Bread Pay refused to cancel a loan I had for merchandise that was never shipped to me. Even after sending Bread Pay proof from the retailer that the order was canceled and refunded back to Bread Pay, Bread Pay still refused to cancel my loan. Which by the way was pending for weeks waiting for the retailer to ship the merchandise. I had to report my issue to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and I was finally able to have my pending loan cancelled. Disappointed with how Bread Pay handled my situation. Never again, they lost a customer

Pocketed my 64.00 only gave me 78.00 and Wayfair refunded there entire money and I got scammed I will never deal with bread pay

Well woop woop we bought a house and are renovating it. Absolutely love Home Depot but hate that they started going through bread pay. It’s a ONE time use! YOU do NOT get a card. It was a pain in the butt to pay. AND here’s the kicker. We bought flooring the vendor canceled (by accident) so we needed to return the product we never received and buy it again. Well lookie here we used this stupid thing and had to APPLY AGAIN! For a new loan to buy it again although the original funds went back on the loan. When I called customer service I kept getting hung up on because when I got a new approval I had a new number and IT WAS NOT WORKING. Stayed at the store an additional 2 hours trying to figure out how to use this dang card. It does not “easily” go to your Apple wallet and or will not. Absolute trash.
FEELS SCAMMY TO ME
I was buying a cold plunge and sauna (large purchase). I noted I could get 24-months 0% interest through Bread Payments--figured why not. I never apply for credit cards or loans. I prequalified and was approved. I then when through the process of making my purchase and finalizing the application with Bread Pay. I uploaded my ID and that was confirmed. I then was REJECTED the application. I have a credit score in the 800's and a low DTI ratio. I called to ask why, they said I had to wait 24-hrs for an email explaination-- FINE. Well it has now been over 48-hrs and no email. I called again and the rep told me that my phone number and & email are not associated with my name and it was an verification failure. I now have an email inquiry to Bread Pay. This entire company feels scammy and they have all of my personal information. I am NOT pleased.
