Tried to call their offices to make an enquiry and their phone system was awful. All options went silent when I chose them, and connecting to the switchboard was constantly engaged. Even when I requested to rent office space! Gave up and drove down to speak to someone - which ended up being a wasted journey. How do they expect to make any money?!
Punitive reparation demends
This review would be negative stars if it was possible. After 14 years occupation of Bruntwoods offices without once failing to pay the rent or service charges its taken 12 months of constant discourse and wasted time & money to be re-imbursed only half our deposit due to Bruntwoods frankly idiotic and punitive reparations demands, practically none of which were on the original agreement and without basis. If you're prepared to pay their relatively high rents, be prepared to set funds aside for the legal assistance you will definitely need when you plan to leave.
Profits before Disabled People
Bruntwood partner with Trafford Borough Council to operate The Stamford Quarter Shopping Centre in Altrincham. They have allowed the facilty to operate with only one lift for many months without any explanation or support for the disabled.As a person of reduced mobilty who walks with a stick I totally rely on lifts in their Multi Storey Car Park. When both lifts failed a few weeks ago I was left stranded for over an hour on the ground floor with no way to get to my car on the 7th Floor. The only other lifts are 700m away and too far for me to walk after two hours shopping. The security guard suggested I wait in Costa at my expense and they even charged me for the extra time in the Car Park! I complained separately on the Bruntwood, Stamford Quarter and TMBC web sites and have been completely ignored. They are in breach of their obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act and just don't care.
