Lighting shop in Crews Hill nursery horrible 👨
On the 4th March 2924 I went to a nursery in Crews Hill and found a lighting shop within one of the nursery’s. They had lovely stock and the gentleman owner spoke to me and showed me how to differentiate between the grades of crystals lamp shades. I saw on display 2 small glass touch lamps that would be perfect for my grandchildren’s room - one smoked the other plain - and the owners wife went to get 2 boxed ones. She returned after some time with one plain; by this time other customers were queuing, I paid for both. His wife went off again but returned empty handed, he spoke her in French and she began to dismantle the smoked one from the wall. I realised what was going on and said, not to worry if you don’t have a smoked one I’ll come again as there were other things that I’d seen, he then said it made no sense as they have it, I again said it’s fine, he then said ‘I’m an intelligent man and I cannot understand you’ and then said something in French, the customer next to me raised her eyebrows. So I said I’ll leave everything and I’d like a refund for everything. He muttered some more and as he did the refund transaction he said ‘and you don’t come back to my shop’. Well that went without saying. Rude and if I could a zero I would not have given 1 star
