I filed two complaints against two…
Last year I had gone through two highly traumatic experiences with two separate physiotherapists working in the same department. In summary they had been racist, discriminatory , highly inappropriate sexual, and unprofessional. NHS pals complain was useless and they took no responsibility for the psychological impact the two physios had on me (I have ptsd and have self harmed from these events). I brought it up with the HCPC and they took months to investigate the case and the physios received no warnings, no repercussions - just the HCPC panel supporting the physios saying they had good intentions and not everyone will be “satisfied with their consultation” The HCPC does not give care about patients wellbeing . Do not bother reporting any physios because nothing will happen. You’re better off talking about it on social media I brought it up with the PSA (a body that oversees the HCPC , they were much understanding and supportive however they have no say in case outcomes)
A complete waste of time and energy…
A complete waste of time and energy they’re covering up corruption and putting people lives in danger they don’t protect the public at all they’re was plenty of evidence I have professional people and drs willing to talk to the ombudsman about this corruption they have covered up they don’t do anything to stop corruption and help the public it’s another government organisation not fit to serve the people and public it’s supposed to do
HCPC Ignored repeated emails
I contacted the HCPC regarding fake physiotherapists who are putting patients’ health and lives at risk. Despite repeatedly reaching out, they have ignored me completely. They are supposed to regulate medical professionals, yet in reality, they don’t bother and clearly don’t care.
NIL POINTS
As someone who successfully had a social worker held to account by this organisation around 10 years ago, I felt hopeful they would 'do the right thing' with another 'registrant' of theirs, who is recorded by the Police as causing me "harassment". If only I had read these reviews, the one's I can relate to as a 'complainant' that is, because they offer valuable insight and advice. I also wish I had been aware of the 'published review' by the PSA into this organisation; HCPC have FAILED to "MEET STANDARD 15 FOR THE TENTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR... ABOUT THE TIME IT TAKES TO PROCESS FITNESS TO PRACTICE CASES." ... It is mind blowing to me, that an organisation judging 'registrants fitness to practice' ARE NOT FIT TO PRACTICE THEMSELVES!!!
The HCPC comes across as a high handed…
The HCPC comes across as a high handed organisation, looking at its website. Who are these people who assess the fitness to practice of its members, who regulates it, who are they protecting, is it accountable and is it fit for purpose? All I can say is that I am glad that I am no longer in a post that has a 'protected title' meaning that I would have to register and be accepted for registration by this crowd. And, from the other perspective, it would be interesting to know if they are completely impartial when a complaint is made.
