Memories Jibacoa Kuba
Unser erster Kuba-Urlaub war vor 30 Jahren, 2002 waren wir zum ersten Mal in Jibacoa, damals hieß das Hotel noch Breezes Jibacoa. Wir erkannten schnell, dass dieses Hotel unser Urlaubsdomizil werden könnte; Wir können nun auf 24 Jahre Urlaub in diesem Resort zurückblicken, ohne einen einzigen Urlaubstag zu bereuen. Auch für Taucher und Schnorchler bietet das vorgelagerte Riff ein Eldorado mit einer für Kuba fantastischen Unterwasserwelt. Unter den angestellten Mitarbeitern haben wir viele Freunde gefunden, von denen die meisten bereits seit unserem ersten Aufenthalt in der Traumeinrichtung beschäftigt sind. Wir glauben, dass bei den Abendveranstaltungen für jeden etwas dabei ist, aber ein Highlight sind die Veranstaltungen wie Weihnachten, Silvester, Halloween usw. Der größte Anteil der Urlauber im Memories Jibacoa sind Kanadier, die sehr angenehme und disziplinierte, freundliche Menschen sind. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und wird jedes Jahr noch besser. Die Hotelanlage mit direktem Zugang zum Strand ist ein Traum und auch die kurze Entfernung von Jibacoa nach Havanna, Matanzas und Varadero sollte nicht unerwähnt bleiben. Wir sind gerade zurückgekehrt, leider gab es seit letztem Jahr keine Direktflüge mehr aus Deutschland, daher haben wir uns für die Alternative mit Air Canada mit dreitägigem Zwischenstopp in Toronto entschieden, auch diese Alternative ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wenn Kuba, dann ist dieses Hotel mit Abstand das beste und wir kennen die ganze Insel und daher viele Hotels. Wir werden Memories Jibacoa dieses Jahr auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen. Ich möchte diese Gelegenheit nutzen, um allen bei Memories Jibacoa für die wundervollen vergangenen Jahre zu danken und weiter so zu machen. Our first Cuba vacation was 30 years ago, in 2002 we were in Jibacoa for the first time, back then the hotel was still called Breezes Jibacoa. We quickly realized that this hotel could become our vacation home; we can now look back on 24 years of vacation in this resort without regretting a single day of vacation. The offshore reef also offers an Eldorado for divers and snorkelers with an underwater world that is fantastic for Cuba. We have made a lot of friends among the employed staff, most of whom have been employed at the dream facility since our first stay. We think there is something for everyone in the evening events, but a highlight are the events such as Christmas, New Year's Eve, Halloween etc. The largest proportion of holidaymakers at Memories Jibacoa are Canadians, who are very pleasant and disciplined, friendly people. The food is excellent and has gotten even better every year. The hotel complex with direct access to the beach is a dream, and the short distance from Jibacoa to Havana, Matanzas and Varadero should not go unmentioned. We have just returned, unfortunately there have been no direct flights from Germany since last year, so we chose the alternative with Air Canada with a three-day stop in Toronto, this alternative is also highly recommended. If Cuba then this hotel is by far the best and we know the whole island and therefore many hotels. We will definitely visit Memories Jibacoa again this year. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Memories Jibacoa for the wonderful past years and keep it up.

Good customer service after my complaint
At first I was disappointed and felt misled by the room descriptions, as it seemed I had paid more for the exact same room. I contacted HolidayCheck and explained the issue. To their credit, HolidayCheck reviewed my case carefully and responded in a professional manner. They acknowledged my concern and offered me a 50 € refund as a goodwill/pricematch solution. This shows that they do take customer feedback seriously and try to find fair solutions. I appreciate that they handled the matter in a respectful way, and this has restored my trust in them.
