I am extremely disappointed

I am extremely disappointed with the service and handling of my account by Howe, Inc. First, communication was poor and unprofessional throughout my interaction with the company. Despite multiple emails, it was clear that my concerns were not taken seriously and responses from their representative, Chad VanDenBerg, often came across as dismissive rather than customer-focused. Second, Chad VanDenBerg blamed me for not maintaining my brand new HVAC system that came with a vent cleaning service that I paid extra for after the unit was froze up because the filter was “To Clean”. When I questioned what a three week old filter should look like, Chad started circling around with his story and provided me with no real detail. Third, Howe, Inc. attempted to charge me for a vent cleaning service that was never originally scheduled. The only reason this came to light was because I reached out to ask when the service would actually be performed. This is completely unacceptable business practice — no company should ever bill for work that was not scheduled or completed. Fourth, as reflected in my email communication chain with Chad VanDenBerg who represented Howe, Inc. showed a lack of accountability when questioned about the charges. Instead of acknowledging their mistake and taking steps to resolve it quickly, the burden was placed back on me as the customer to identify and challenge their errors. Overall, my experience with Howe, Inc. has been frustrating, time-consuming, and deeply unsatisfactory. Between the unprofessional communication, the careless handling of my account, and billing me for a service to rectify a defective anomaly they couldn’t conclusively explain, I cannot recommend this company to anyone seeking trustworthy or reliable service.
