Linkby has been easy to work with and the setup was simple. Our first campaign performed well and gave us confidence to scale now :))
Confusing platform and disappointing follow-through
The service sounded great in theory — easy campaigns, simple setup, and quick results. In reality, the process was confusing and full of delays. The dashboard didn't match what was promised, and communication was inconsistent once the deal was signed. Follow-ups took forever, and results were far less than expected. It's frustrating to invest time and money into something that doesn't deliver what it advertises. The concept has potential, but execution is completely off.
I recently tried it out
I recently tried it out. I had it set for $1.75/click and no publisher picked it up for 2 months, so I offered $2 per click. They assured me the clicks from these publishers are high quality and they have a system to make sure they're not bot clicks. US weekly is the publication that chose to write an article. They sent lots of traffic earning themselves $2 per click, but the sales just didn't happen. I spent $5,000 (the minimum you have to spend) and it generated $300 in sales. Hands down the worst advertising results I've ever experienced. They said they analyzed it for bot traffic, and it was legitimate traffic. However the average time on the page was 15 seconds, my average engagement time per session is closer to 45 seconds. Much of the traffic was just 1 second or less. Seems the publisher who chose to make the post was not a good fit. There's no way to back out of it once it starts you're in for the full amount. My communication with the Linkby rep was good and he was very responsive. They do have legitimate connections to publishers to get you an article written. It simply worked out terribly for my business. Our conversion rate with other platforms that have posted articles is generally 4-10%. This conversion rate was basically .001%. Something doesn't add up. Disappointing and very hurtful for my small business.
A total waste and a complete scam
Honestly, this company is a nightmare if you’re serious about advertising. They lure you in with promises of high-quality placements, but almost immediately, they flood your campaign with useless traffic that drains your budget without results. I spent way more than I should have just trying to test things, and it felt like they didn’t care at all about where my money went. Customer support is slow and defensive, barely answering questions or offering any real help. By the end, it just felt like a total waste and a complete scam. I wouldn’t touch them again, and I’d warn anyone who’s thinking about it to look elsewhere.
Claimed more poor quality clicks than we received
Avoid. I has such hopes for this company. However, the quality of the clicks received are extremely poor and the click count is false. According to Linkby, whilst we averaged approximately 6 clicks per day since starting our campaign early December, magically, we received 834 clicks from activity yesterday, while Google Analytics tells a very different story - only 308 and a mere 111 of those visits lasted more than 10 seconds all producing 0 sales. At a rate of $3.50 per click, they took $2,919.00 in one day for 834 clicks when only 111 could be considered genuine. To us, all evidence points to $2,530.50 in fake clicks in one day.
