My Disastrous Flying Experience with Royal Air Maroc
I travelled business class on 9/5/26 from IAD, destined for Nigeria. Unfortunately, I lost my phone at the Casablanca Airport. In an attempt to report the loss, I encountered over five customer service staff of theirs who had no knowledge of how I should proceed reporting this loss. I eventually located one at Terminal 2 and the two reps were attending to a team of about 20. I was told to go wait behind them and as I waited, one of the reps attended to three other passengers by the side. These three passengers came after me by the way. I also observed these three passengers were either Arabs or spoke French. I branched to the side too thinking I would be helped as my boarding was within the next one hour. After the rep helped the three other passengers, I was irritated and asked why they were helping others by the side while they told me to go wait behind a team of over 20 people; when they could just help me and get back to the team. I then asked the rep "are you ignoring me because I'm not Arab and I don't speak French? The rep responded, "I don't deal with this kind of shit" Of course I was appalled with this choice of words after having spent so much to fly business with my daughter. I used a curse word back on her and her teammate was coming for me; as in, she was leaving her cubicle to come fight me until one of their security held her back. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE REP LEFT HER CUBICLE TO COME AND FIGHT ME!!! I then returned to the lounge and met a passenger occupying my seat after my daughter told her I just stepped out to go trace my phone. The said passenger refused to get up despite my meal and drinks right on the table in front of my seat. I sought the attention of a supervisor for intervention and the supervisor told me, "what do you want us to do about that? Go talk to her yourself" zero conflict de-escalation effort. The lady and I yelled at each other for a while, yet their lounge staff never attempted any form of conflict management. Finally, we boarded and a passenger was on her phone speaking so loud; she was on video call with her family until we took off and she lost the internet in the sky. The cabin crew never for once told her to put her phone on flight mode even for takeoff. I then arrived my destination and called their customer service to report my lost phone; I wasn't surprised this time when she dismissively said "file a claim online" and that was all she said. I did file a claim, and it has been over a week now; no single acknowledgement of my claim till date, even if they were unable to locate my phone. Google locator places my phone at the Casablanca airport by the way; if someone had helped me earlier, I may have been able to retrieve it before we departed Casablanca. They really have no business running an airline, but most importantly, May Royal Air Maroc never happen to you. It's been one of my most disastrous flying experience so far. Not to mention, their meals, even in business class or lounge is not worth writing home about.

HAD A FLIGHT SUNDAY AT 1020 AM. RECEIVED THREE NOTICES FROM EXPEDIA STATING FLIGHT WAS DELAYED. I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE THIS COMPANY ROYAL AIR MAROC. WAS IN AIRPORT AT 920 TRYING TO CHECK IN SELF CHECK IN. COULDN'T GET THROUGH. AGAIN UNPROFESSIONAL EXPEDIA SENT ME THREE NOTICES FLIGHT DELAYED THEIR LIARS AS WELL.. GOT TO THE RAM BOOTH. LADIES WERE RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT HELPING. IT WAS STILL ENOUGH TIME TO ASSIST ME WITH CHECKING IN. AGAIN THERE WAS PLENTY OF TIME TO HELP ME. THEY WERE NASTY TO FOREIGN LOOKING WOMAN. SO. I ASKED KINDLY AS YOU SHOULD. WELL THESE TWO PEOPLE WERE NOT RECIPETFULL. MORE LIKE UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. ITS EARLY IN THE MORNING WHY WERE THEY SO RUDE. I WASN'T..I HAVE MY WITNESS. I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND ROYAL AIR MAROC. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DISGUSTING AND LAME. NOTHING CAN INTERFERE WITH THE KINGDOM. GOD HAS MY BACK..I.SAID THANKS. BUT FOLKS BEWARE OF THIS AIRLINE.. THEY HAVE NO SIGNS AT LAX STATING WHO THEY ARE. WHERE THEIR LOCATED. HAD TO ASK THREE PEOPLE INCLUDING THE HELP COUNTER. EVERYONE WAS KIND EXPECT THEM TWO LADIES WHO ARE SUPPOSED TO BE REPRESENTING ROYAL AIR MAROC SHAME ON THIS COMPANY AND THEIR RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS OR STEWARDS. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THEM AND FORGET THE UNPROFESSIONALISM OF THIS COMPANY. TO ALL THAT ISSUES WITH THEM GO TO THEIR FB PAGE AND INSTAGRAM PAGE. AND CALL THE LOCAL NEWS.

terrible customer service, terrible staff friendliness, and chaotic connections at the Casablanca hub. Terrible coordination between their departments. Never had a worse experience with flying in 50 years of flying. AVOID at all costs
