I bought a pair of sandals and returned them, it took two emails and a phone call to get my refund after 2 weeks plus they subtracted 16 dollars from it (not 8 like they claimed). Def not buying from them again

I do like sam edelman style and fit. Only issue I have when ordered them via their website, I did not get my full amount back. Total spent was $134 and my refund was $118...they deducted return charge plus tax. Done buying Sam Edelman shoes!
Extremely disappointing customer…
Extremely disappointing customer service. I paid for shoes that were never delivered, and Alyasra themselves confirmed that the item was unavailable. Despite weeks of emails and WhatsApp messages and repeated promises of a refund, I am still waiting for my money. Instead, I keep being asked to explain the same issue to different employees. Completely unacceptable.
Buyers beware, this company uses Fedex Smartpost for shipping
Everything is getting worse, companies are pinching pennies (because what will the shareholders think??) and are using the lowest of low shipping service, and Sam Edelman is no exception to this. Shipping with Fedex Smartpost while claiming it's 4-6 business days for standard shipping borders on fraud, because at the rate Smartpost moves, I imagine the complaints are coming in frequently. For those unaware, Fedex Smartpost is the lowest tier shipping one can use. Shipping schedules and moves packages based on volume capacity. Your item is placed into a massive container or trailer bound for your region, which sits stationary at the hub until it is packed 100% full. Because these economy packages are the lowest network priority, they are routinely sidelined for higher-paying mail, resulting in days/weeks of frozen tracking while the container waits to hit maximum capacity. Tomorrow will be day 5 of the promised delivery timespan, and yet it's still sitting at "Label created" status meaning it hasn't even moved an inch out of your warehouse. Guess you gotta fill up that container first. As a consumer, understand that an increasing amount of commercial retailers use this method because it completely avoids the residential delivery surcharges and delivery area surcharges that standard FedEx or UPS ground networks tack on. By dumping thousands of packages at a single USPS hub, FedEx passes the massive bulk discount down to the retailer, who can then offer you "free shipping", which by the way, with Fedex Smartpost can take multiple weeks. Yep, you heard that right, multiple weeks - just look into peoples experiences on Reddit. Shame on you Sam Edelman, I will return the shoes (once they arrive in however many days or weeks) out of principle because I'm simply just fed up with all these companies playing their consumers for a fool. Advertising free 4-6 days shipping at checkout, only to quietly route the package through a bottom-tier economy network is shady marketing. The customer expects standard delivery but gets the slow, container-waiting system. Do better
