Yesterday I wrote a scathing review as our lift had been out of service for 5 days. Now I must thank the kindly gentlemen who arrived yesterday evening and fixed it in a trice. In future I will phone Schindler’s call centre directly.

The lift services provided by Schindler… very poor
EThe lift services provided by Schindler at Shivansh 15 Flats, Sargasan, Gandhinagar are extremely poor. Hardly any proper maintenance is provided. Even after paying around ₹4 lakh annually for the AMC of eight lifts (₹48,000 per lift), the lifts remain out of service almost every day. Residents are facing immense inconvenience because of the frequent breakdowns. The company also charges unreasonably high prices for spare parts, yet provides no guarantee for them. If you are considering installing lifts from this company, we strongly advise you to think twice before making your decision. "Spare parts are charged separately

For a company that supposedly supports elevators in high rise buildings they are pathetic. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. It is sad as their technicians are amazing it’s just their management that cannot get their act together. I would never recommend them
Shocking customer service.
Shocking customer service. I have been waiting since April and it's now July, for someone to come and service our lift. I have emailed them 4 times and although I did get a response the last time I am still waiting for the engineer to turn up. It used to be that the engineer would just turn up but I think that he must have left so now I'm beholden to a centralised system that doesn't give a sh*t. If things don't improve I'll be looking for a new servicing company when my contract is up next year.
POOR Management!!! For months I have been asking them to explain an additional charge on our account of over $1800. Not a large sum of money but it is more on backing up your product!!!
I'm not one to complain as I know things happen. I am the facilities manager for a company. Our facility is a 44,000 sq. ft. office space. We had a complete elevator (3 floors) modification done by Schindler. The technicians that did the work (one was a trainee, not a lot of experience and I know you have to start somewhere, so one did most of the work) was very good at what he did. the management people that were over the project left a lot to be desired. Communication was horrible!!! The start date (was one of the reason's we chose them) did not happen because there wasn't enough staffing available. Wrong parts were ordered, numerous cost increases throughout the project, inability to get the elevator in-car phone to work. Three inspections before the state would approve operation (one was a fire panel issue). Not responding to questions concerning charges on invoices. I would not recommend this company for an elevator modification. After asking for an explanation of an additional charge (over $1800, not the amount that is in question by why Schindler doesn't backup their product and service) to our account for months, I received an email stating the description for a charge was for a service call because our elevator was locked out after conducting our monthly test. Cause for this was a loose wire on the back of our completely new in-car control panel that was part of the modernization. Their tech came into trouble shoot to see why it was locked out the loose wire was the reason the elevator would not operate. Again, another reason to look to other company's for elevator work!!!
