Quoted $75, charged $250 — and no effort to make it right I scheduled this consultation earlier this week through the company’s corporate office and was quoted $75 for the visit. After driving 30 minutes through rush-hour traffic, I was told at check-in that the consultation would cost $250—and that the fee would not be applied toward any future procedures. I understand that prices can vary, but a difference of more than double should be clearly communicated before a patient makes the trip. When I explained what I had been quoted, the person at the front desk was clipped and offered no apology or explanation that showed concern for the mistake. I left without being seen rather than pay a price I hadn’t agreed to. I’m posting this so management is aware of both the conflicting pricing information and how the situation was handled. Please make sure patients receive accurate pricing before their appointments and that front-desk staff respond professionally when a discrepancy comes up.

The doctors and medical staff are okay, but everything else is a nightmare of AI dead ends. Like not even AIs that take you somewhere that eventually leads to a human that might have the answer. AIs that dump whatever you say into a giant virtual heap and laugh at you. I guess those AIs haven't figured out how to bill you for the privilege, yet, but they're on it I'm sure. They definitely make sure you find out about any outstanding balances in a timely fashion even if they ghost you for pretty much everything else.
How NOT to treat a patient
When a medical professional office cancels an appointment with a patient do you expect a call to inform you and reschedule? I do. This operation sends you a text through their app! I don't want to be on my phone to keep track of the possibility of them cancelling on me. I wouldn't text them to cancel. If this is the kind of impersonal care you enjoy receiving-then go ahead. I'll be looking for a new dermatologist.

My husband went to a doctor visit at Schweiger Dermatology and was told by his provider there that she didn’t know what the lesion on his arm was and sprayed it with liquid nitrogen, told him to return in six months. The lesion kept growing and didn’t look good after being hit with the nitrogen. He obtained an appointment with a doctor associated with a well known local medical university and after being partially removed to determine a biopsy, it was diagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma and he is being scheduled for surgery to have the entire lesion properly removed. If you want or need good medical care I highly recommend you avoid any Schweiger Dermatology office.

Lsa Antonczak the aprn who examined me took about 2 minutes in the room, was suppose to be full body looked under my feet and my back for a few seconds had to show her what I concerned about on my back, never looked at the front of my body. the whole exam was a total waste of time. I will not return.
