Just had a cold call from Sleeknote on my personal phone number about doing work for the company I work for. My personal number is not listed online anywhere alongside any information relating to where I work so I asked the representative where they got my phone number from. They were unable to answer this question, so I asked if they can find out from someone whilst we were on the call. He said he would, but then continued talking a way around it but when I persisted he said 'it might be Adversus', I said I didn't want maybes I needed an answer. He then said he had checked with his colleague and that's what he said,which was a blatant lie as he'd been speaking with me the entire time. I gave them my work email to use to confirm where they'd gotten my personal phone number from so I can request to remove this from wherever it is being stored and asked that they delete my personal number from their records. I am not convinced I will hear anything back from them so am leaving a 1 star review for now until they can confirm how they have procured my personal number and all these other details of mine that they have on file. Completely unethical.
