I have been using Xojo for more than 25 years to build and maintain nine commercial applications for macOS and Windows. Thanks to its stability, cross-platform capabilities, and long-term reliability, I’ve been able to ship real products, keep them updated for decades, and run a sustainable software business on top of it. If I had to mention one downside, it would be the pricing. License costs have steadily increased over the years, which can be challenging for independent developers and small businesses. It would be great to see more generous loyalty or renewal discounts for long-term users. Overall, my experience has been very positive. Xojo is actively developed and receives regular updates—typically every few months—with new features and improvements. It’s refreshing to use a development tool that feels alive and continues to evolve rather than being abandoned or stagnant.

I have been using Xojo for 20 years very successfully. I really hope I can use it for 20 more years. Originally I choosed this product because it can build applications for macOS and MS Windows, but right now, you can also create applications for Linux and iOS. Note that it also creates Web applications. I have always been successfull with Xojo over the years, and I use it every day. I very highly recommend it.

I have been using Xojo since it was RealBasic (2006) and while it started out as a fantastic product, over the past 2 years or so, they have slipped into a product that I no longer care to support. They have stopped listening to their customers, releases don't seem to ever get any QA, and they have become very draconian in their customer service
500% price hike and rude customer service made me move to a better solution
After using XOJO for over 20 years, they've suddenly price gouged their customers with a 500% price increase. Support has been unhelpful and rude, basically telling everyone to go kick rocks. I've left XOJO and will not support scummy businesses that do this to their long term loyal customers.
