Very Poor Experience – No Ticket, No Refund, No Support
I had a very disappointing experience with yatra.com. I booked a rail ticket through Yatra (Booking Reference No. 1912250027251). The payment was successful, and an amount of ₹6,346.75 was debited from my account. However, I never received the ticket. After some time, the Yatra app showed that the ticket was cancelled, even though I did not cancel it myself. The worst part is that I have not received any refund for this booking. I have sent multiple emails to Yatra’s customer support requesting a refund, but there has been no response at all. Another major issue is that there is no customer care phone number available for rail ticket bookings. Only email support is provided, and they are not replying, which is extremely frustrating in such situations. Because of this poor service, I had no choice but to book my ticket again through a different platform. This experience has caused financial loss, stress, and complete loss of trust in Yatra. I would not recommend yatra.com for rail ticket bookings unless they improve their customer support and refund process. Update: I would like to thank yatra.com for responding to my complaint on Trustpilot and for processing the refund successfully. I appreciate the resolution of the refund issue. However, I would still strongly recommend that Yatra improve their customer service, as I never received any reply to my emails sent to their support team. It would also be very helpful if Yatra could introduce a dedicated customer support phone number for rail ticket bookings, as relying only on email support can be very frustrating for customers facing urgent issues.

YATRA IS A CROOK AND A LIAR. My unknowledgeable father booked a ticket from an agent who defrauded him, and for which we paid heavily. He paid 2 lakhs for a ticket and asked him to ensure that a change in the ticket should be allowed. Then he had a heart operation and had to pay 1 lakh to reschedule. The airlines had a simple, free rescheduling process, but Yatra just didn't want to change or cancel. Please never go to Yatra, which is just a middleman. They give you tickets that are a few thousand cheaper but come with no protections or facilities like free baggage. GO DIRECTLY TO THE AIRLINES or American companies like Expedia, which provide better consumer protection.

Airline customer care team, upon phone enquiry, mention PNR is for group booking of 40# Pax and till date Your name is not register by YATRA against said PNR ! Further only 20# Seats are available. I have registered written complaint to YATRA.Com, however no response. All attempts to reach out YATAR customer care number 0120 484552 also resulted to no response. I am clueless about my booking. Trip is critical for Business related work.

Booked an international flight via Yatra.com. Needed a minor change to the return timing. Same date. What I got instead: ❌ 48 hours of silence on email ❌ Instagram DMs ignored ❌ Call center numbers not working ❌ A callback from the wrong team ❌ No supervisor willing to talk ❌ Another “wait 24 hours” after escalation At this point, Yatra feels less like a travel company and more like a case study in how NOT to run customer support. I don’t know who’s worse— the system that’s broken, or the people pretending it isn’t. Hard regret booking with Yatra. Publicly sharing so others don’t make the same mistake.

Their customer service is almost impossible to reach, and when you finally do, there is no real support or solution provided. Instead of helping with rescheduling, they deliberately push customers toward cancellation, leaving no practical alternative. This feels intentional, as cancellations often benefit them more than customers. Even after cancellation, there is no clarity or confidence about timely refunds, which only adds to the stress and frustration. Overall, the experience lacks transparency, accountability, and basic customer care. There are far better and more reliable platforms available. Do not book through Yatra.com unless you’re willing to take the risk.
