Sudden ID Demands After Collecting My Data
I completed a survey for this company under the terms that were originally presented — no mention of needing to submit sensitive documents. Only after they collected all my responses did they suddenly introduce new “verification requirements,” asking for a government-issued ID and medical credentials. This was never communicated upfront. Changing the conditions after obtaining my data is unacceptable and raises serious transparency and privacy concerns. If identity verification was truly necessary, it should have been disclosed before the survey, not afterward. The whole experience left me feeling misled and uncomfortable with how my information is being handled. I cannot recommend this platform based on the way they operate.

Felt unsafe, received derogatory private meesage
I was sent a derogatory private message by a physician I didn’t even know, in response to a comment on another person’s post. Doximity contacted the physician involved, he admitted he did it and wouldn’t do it again, they were satisfied with that. I was not and felt very unsafe on the site so I left the site, in the process of having my profile deleted and will delete the app. No follow-up from anyone but “tech support” whose position was the other doctor and I “didn’t get along”. I didn’t even know the guy.
