Don't Buy Direct...Maybe Don't Buy
Trying to support a British company directly...have been buying their product as gifts for some years...ordered online, for weekday delivery as a Mothers Day gift on behalf of my partner. Weekday delivery confirmed, then a Saturday date over a week away appears on the receipt. Contacted their customer service to ask for this to be amended and the requested date put in. No response. Over a week later and still no delivery. Finally get a notification some 10 days later that it has shipped. Still no response from customer service. And it arrives beaten up at destination. But I guess that's the courier. Will find other companies to support, sorry.
Worse people to work for
Worse people to work for. Many reviews I've seen use the word 'toxic' and I'd say that sums them up. They have little or no respect for anybody except themselves. They use and abuse their staff!
Very Disappointed
I love Nyetimber champagne and wanted to buy my daughter some for her 25th birthday. I visited their website and searched their online shop. Delighted to find ‘The Birthday Case’ and the blurb said ‘ Celebrate with three iconic wines including Cuvee Chérie, the perfect accompaniment to a slice of cake. Whether treating yourself or a loved one, this case will add sparkle to any birthday.’ It sounded perfect and purchased. Imagine my dismay when the bottles arrived as a single bottle and two bottles in standard postage boxes. There was a card saying happy birthday with the the single bottle which was quite nice but of course just put in the box and was bent. When buying ‘The Birthday Case’ I did expect 3 bottles to arrive all together in one nice box/case perhaps with some Nyetimber branding on it. Unfortunately this was most certainly not the case. I wish I had just gone to Waitrose and bought the champagne from them plus a smart gift box and it would certainly have been better value as at that time Nyetimber was on offer there. I had to buy a special wine box anyway to present the wines smartly as what arrived was so very scruffy and very uncelebratory. Very very disappointed and very upset.
