Powerling can't be trusted
Powerling can't be trusted. They treat contractors/freelancers in a very poor manner. They acquire companies and try to piggy-back off of the trust the other companies have built with freelancers but do nothing to uphold their end of the deal. For instance when they acquired WCS that owed many freelancers money, Powerling refused to pay. Some were owed thousands. I worked for several companies that Powerling acquired, this is how I know. To clients out there: Stay away from Powerling. There are so many other and better choices.
Why Powerling needs to #PayTheDebt
When Powerling took over the WCS group, it didn't bother to #PayTheDebt owed to its freelance translators. On average, they're owed about €1,000 each in unpaid invoices: money that they can't afford to lose. Powerling is now trading on the goodwill that they created. This is behaviour unworthy of a BCorp company. Come on Powerling, #PayTheDebt !
