Regpacks: The $2.5M Niche Player
AI-driven registration software that quietly dominates specific verticals.
In a world obsessed with hyper-growth SaaS unicorns, Regpacks.com operates differently. With just 25 employees and $2.5M in revenue, this isn't a scaling story—it's a focused execution story. They aren't trying to be the next Stripe; they're trying to be the backend engine for every youth camp and conference in North America.
"High direct traffic (53%) combined with low global rank suggests a captive audience, not a viral one. They own their niche, but they aren't growing it."
The SEO Paradox
Regpacks' keyword strategy is fascinatingly specific. They rank for 'trust games for sunday school balls' (960 volume) and 'children's summer camp types' (300 volume). This isn't broad B2B software; it's vertical SaaS built for religious organizations and educational camps. The 'undefined' country traffic (64.5%) hints at data tracking issues or a highly fragmented, global user base that defies standard geo-tagging.
The Founder-Led Sales Engine
With founders like Asaf Darash and key operators like Calvin Hosey (Payments) and Edgar Carrasco (BizDev), the leadership team suggests a hands-on, relationship-driven sales motion. The low employee count relative to revenue ($100k/employee) indicates high efficiency, likely driven by automated onboarding and a self-serve product that minimizes the need for a large support team.
The Trustpilot rating of 2.6/5 based on only 4 reviews is a red flag for consumer trust, but likely irrelevant for their B2B model. Organizations buying registration software rarely leave public reviews; they sign multi-year contracts. The real metric is the 53% direct traffic—users aren't discovering Regpacks via ads; they are typing the URL directly into their browser. That is habit.
- Vertical Focus: Targets camps, churches, and events rather than generic enterprise.
- Tech Stack Efficiency: Uses jQuery and Bootstrap—older tech that is stable but suggests legacy code debt.
- Payment Integration: Calvin Hosey's role highlights payments as a core differentiator, likely handling complex fee structures.
The Quiet Giant of Niche SaaS
Regpacks proves you don't need to be a unicorn to win. You just need to own a specific pain point so deeply that your customers type your URL from memory.

Promises a great deal but doesn't deliver
I had high hopes for Regpack, but my experience has been deeply disappointing. From the outset, I made it clear that I needed a system that could process payments in euros, as the majority of my customers are based in Europe. Regpack assured me they could handle this, but they ultimately failed to acquire a merchant account on my behalf, rendering the system unusable for my business. This wasn’t an optional feature—it was a critical requirement, and their inability to deliver on this promise meant I was left with a system that simply didn’t work. Beyond the payment issue, Regpack overpromised in other areas as well. We discussed the need for multilingual functionality, which they assured me was possible. In reality, their ability to support translations fell far short of what was promised. The system itself is also clunky and riddled with bugs. I encountered three significant glitches that directly impacted functionality. When I reported them, I was told they had been submitted to the developers, but no timeline was given for fixes. There was no transparency about when—or even if—these issues would be addressed. Two weeks ago, I emailed the CEO directly to outline my complaints. To date, I have not even received an acknowledgment that my email was received. I am a disgruntled customer, but the breakdown in the relationship was entirely due to Regpack’s failure to understand my needs. Rather than accepting responsibility, they continued to charge me for a system that was unusable—because they failed to provide the means by which to accept payment. Worse still, they refused to refund me despite their inability to deliver what was promised. I spent many days building the system before they finally informed me that there were issues acquiring the merchant account. Had they simply delayed things until the merchant account was secured, this entire situation could have been avoided. Instead, they pressed ahead, allowing me to invest time and effort into building a system that I ultimately couldn’t use. That said, the basic system seems sound, and for standard use cases—such as taking registrations for camps and similar events—it appears to work well. Many other user reviews are largely positive, which suggests that for certain businesses, Regpack may be a good fit. Unfortunately, my experience has been very different. It is when you move beyond the most basic requirements that cracks begin to show. Regpack’s “system build” was misleading at best. I was led to believe they would set up the platform for me, but in reality, I had to build it myself with the support of a project manager. This is not a plug-and-play solution, and the learning curve is steep. If you’re expecting a fully configured system ready to use, you will be in for a shock—you will be doing the heavy lifting yourself. Throughout the process, it became clear that Regpack operates like a young company whose sales team will say yes to everything without the ability to deliver. Their promises sound great on paper, but when it comes to execution, they fall short. If you are based in the United States and have a straightforward use case, you may have better luck. But if you need anything beyond the basics—especially if you are based outside the U.S.—I would strongly recommend thinking twice before committing to Regpack.
Regpack Was Not a Good Fit – Costly and Poor Support
Our experience with Regpack was frustrating and costly. Within a month, we realized the platform wasn’t a good fit and canceled, yet we were still charged fees exceeding 90 days' worth. The system relies heavily on their team for setup, but communication was slow and unclear, making the process difficult. Despite expressing our concerns, we received no support or understanding. A trial period would have saved us thousands.

Company advised me that my claim ws finally approved after several delays on there end. My claim was initiated in July. I was advised in October. Since October 23rd I was notified that my claim was approved. It is now Nov 14 and still no funds. They dont respond to my email nor will they return my call. The last email I received stated that my bank rejected the refund and that they will resubmit it again. I know that was a lie. I will NEVER work with anyone that uses them again . This is almost $1,000 that is owed to me.
Thank you for sharing your experience, and I sincerely apologize for the frustration you've encountered. I want to clarify that our Purchase Protection is facilitated through a third-party provider. Unfortunately, there were delays in processing your specific claim due to initially receiving incomplete documentation. We have taken steps to avoid such delays in the future, including changing our service provider to ensure more reliable and timely responses. Your feedback is invaluable, and we are committed to ensuring this does not happen again. Please feel free to reach out directly if there are any further issues or if there's anything more we can do to assist you. -The Regpack Team
They play every dirty trick in the book
This company plays every dirty trick in the website design book to get money out of customers: - They will automatically add a $75 protection plan to your cart, hoping that you won't notice. - The 'adjusted' subtotal will be in tiny text, in a green button. - if you will want to contact them to get your money back, just forget about it. Their customer service does not serve end-users. Shame on them for doing that to parents, especially to those who have kids who have special needs.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’d like to clarify that Regpack is a software service designed to support organizations in managing their processes transparently. Each organization using our platform independently sets its own policies and fees. Additionally, Purchase Protection is managed by a third party and is refundable within a specific period post-purchase. Please note, varying screen sizes and resolutions might affect how content is displayed. We strive for clarity and encourage users to directly contact the organization they registered with for concerns about charges or services. We are dedicated to enhancing our software’s usability and value your suggestions for improving the user experience. If you need further assistance, please let us know.
