The Fastly service is absolutely…
The Fastly service is absolutely amazing, my site has had a very noticeable decrease in page load time. FAR more than any caching plugin (WordPress) has ever provided. What really stands out about Fastly the most to me is the level of support they provide. At one point we had weekly conference calls and several engineers spent a LOT of time getting my site to work. All for a $50/mo service (my current tier). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fastly as a CDN. I did a ton of research and I'm absolutely convinced I picked the best one.

Honestly, there is no service better than this team. I'm really glad about their support, never wrote such review for a company but I think Fastly team goes above and beyond their expectations. Always able to help and training sessions are great, the team are fully prepared with their tools. The team are amazing and I couldn't see any negative side on this. No matter what you need they always get back to you with answers. Thank you Fastly team, keep it up!!!
Fasty is the CDN of the future available today!
Fasty is the CDN of the future available today! The way Fasty was constructed and performs is better than any other CDN on the market. The amount of functionality and speed combined without the need for the forced subdomain a.k.a. cdn.example create in my opinion the best content delivery network in existence (I will say Akamai is up there & 20x the price) but I prefer Fastly. What it can accomplish using VLC is a refreshing change from the one click you must pay for additional access CDN's like CF which are not nearly as quick or as capable even if you do pay the higher price for the enterprise. My advice is to look at Fastly before you look at other content delivery networks or reverse proxies some huge SEO improvements by taking a subdomain with a lot of link equity and creating a subfolder make this tool worth its weight in gold.
Not Magento compatible......yet!
So we got fastly working on certain sections of our demo site and it was encouraging - rocket fast in fact but on our live site it would NOT work! Issues: - cannot add to basket due to invalid form keys - cannot browse via SSL as the site goes into a redirect loop fastly working on it and we are hopeful of a solution.... UPDATE.....after a week we gave up and went for another solution. It is a shame but Fastly's support need constant chasing and after spending a lot of development time on it we decided to cut our losses.
Can't close account. Still getting billed despite multiple request to close
No self-serving account cancellation. I've now been charged for 4 months of service since disconnecting their service, despite requesting that my account be closed numerous times directly to their customer support staff. Will never use the product again.
