Radware: The Silent Guardian of the Web
A $279M revenue company that protects the internet's most critical infrastructure from unseen threats.
In the invisible war of cybersecurity, Radware operates as a digital fortress. While most companies fight visible threats, this Israeli-American firm specializes in neutralizing the sophisticated, evolving DDoS attacks that could cripple entire industries.
"They don't just block attacks—they predict them with continuous adaptive security."
The Invisible Shield
Radware's cloud WAF and DDoS protection technologies guard against the most sophisticated web security threats. With 1.8M+ backlinks and a global rank of #167,973, their digital footprint mirrors their real-world impact: substantial but deliberately understated. They're not chasing viral fame; they're securing the infrastructure that powers it.
The Traffic Paradox
Here's what's fascinating: 34% of their traffic is direct—users typing 'radware.com' directly into browsers. That's brand loyalty you can't buy with ads. Yet, only 8.6% of their traffic comes from their top country (likely the US), suggesting a truly global, distributed client base. Their 'Live Threat Map' isn't just a marketing gimmick—it's a 1,910 monthly search magnet that turns abstract security into visual storytelling.
The leadership team, led by CEO Roy Zisapel since the early days, has maintained a consistent vision in a market flooded with pivots. With a tech stack that includes Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, and PWA capabilities, they're modernizing their front-end while keeping their core security engine robust. However, the 2.8/5 Trustpilot rating from 3 reviews raises a critical question: Is their enterprise focus leaving smaller customers underserved, or is this simply the nature of B2B security services where satisfaction is measured in uptime, not stars?
- Direct traffic dominance (34%) signals strong brand equity in niche markets
- Live Threat Map content strategy captures 1,500+ monthly searches for 'radware live threat map'
- 1.8M backlinks indicate significant authority in cybersecurity domain
- Enterprise-focused revenue model ($279M) suggests high-value contracts over volume
The Unsung Infrastructure Guardian
Radware proves that in cybersecurity, the best companies aren't the loudest—they're the ones you never notice because their protection is seamless.

Radware blocks my access to a website where I need to place an order as an existing customer!
I was on some website (as it turned out, that website is, unfortunately, using Radware's services), and after opening some page i've been redirected to another page saying that i need to solve a captcha to prove that i'm not a bot. That captcha-page was, obviously, generated by Radware, because the "contact us" email address is hosted on "shieldsquare.com" that redirects to an anti-bot protection product page on "radware.com". After i successfully solved the captcha, the page gave me a response... And this response, despite the fact that it was composed using respectful words, discouraged me with its unreasonable arrogance and impudence: "Thank you for successfully solving the CAPTCHA! However, your activity and behavior still make us think that you are a bot." First of all, I am not a bot, so the criteria that Radware uses are not efficient. Second, the block appears even after logging into the website where I have an account as an existing customer. As suggested by Radware I signaled the issue, and it says I will be contacted within 1 working day. We are now two working days further, still nothing. Good job, Radware, very efficient in blocking existing customers on their supplierś website.
"You solved the captcha, but nothing has changed, you're still a bot"

That captcha-page was, obviously, generated by Radware, because the "contact us" email address is hosted on "shieldsquare.com" that redirects to an anti-bot protection product page on "radware.com". After i successfully solved the captcha, the page gave me a response... And this response, despite the fact that it was composed using respectful words, discouraged me with its unreasonable arrogance and impudence: "Thank you for successfully solving the CAPTCHA! However, your activity and behavior still make us think that you are a bot." WHAT? IF SUCCESSFULLY SOLVING THE CAPTCHA HAS CHANGED NOTHING, WHY DID YOU FORCE ME TO SOLVE IT??? Don't show the captcha at all, if it can't prove that i'm a human. Just write something like "we think that you are a bot and there is no way to change our mind". This would at least be honest. Why force me to solve a useless captcha? Is Radware using all the solved captchas for some other activity (like accessing some third-party captcha-protected websites with actual bots)? Because the captcha is definitely not used for its normal purpose (confirming that the person is not a bot), since its solving did not change anything. Therefore it looks very suspicious, why would Radware cause websites that bought its protection to lose their customers. Even if Radware isn't doing this for some of its own purposes, this means that it is doing it without any meaning, which is no better for websites that lose their customers because of this - like that website that is using the Radware's services lost me as a client today (by the way, i was going to order a service there in the next few days, but now i can't) - at least until that website will switch to some other anti-bot protection that performs its functions correctly, unlike the one that Radware provides. Other pages of the original website now redirect me to similar Radware-generated captca-pages to force me solving even more of useless captchas. With the same result (more precisely, with no result).
