I had a disappointing experience with Naukri.com’s subscription process. While taking the subscription, there was an auto payment option enabled by default (I don’t know why), which led to my money being automatically debited for the next month without my consent. Since I did not want to continue the subscription, I immediately tried to cancel it but couldn’t find a clear option in the app/website. After searching on Google, I managed to cancel the subscription on the same date the amount was deducted. However, when I contacted customer support, they informed me that no refund will be provided since the money was already deducted, even though I had cancelled right away. This feels unfair and not customer-friendly. Auto-renewal should be optional and transparent, and there should be a proper refund mechanism for such cases where the customer cancels on the same day.
